    I know they should have no walls. But unfortunately, they will get steam-rolled without them. The AI just doesn't protect it's cities well enough.

    The city of Pella, with it's Palace located outside and north of the city:


    And the city of Amasia, the Pontic capital, which was a hillside fortified city:

    Note the buildings outside the walls and on top of the surrounding hills. Just trying to give the 'impression' of a much larger city, without dogging the game too much.
