    Default [Official Submod] Unit Upkeep/Costs Submods

    Reduced Costs and Upkeep Submod - This reduces units' upkeep and costs by around 20%.

    Increased Costs and Upkeep Submod - This increases units' upkeep and costs by around 20%.


    These submods are now also available as part of the DeI Official Submod Collection on Steam.

    Since the Elite unit cap has been removed, because of the natural cap that the upkeep cost created, this mod brings back the Elite unit cap?

    Updated to match the update of the main mod (table shift). Submod now reduces cost/upkeep by 20%.

    This one is, yes. The turn per year ones won't change the turns per year in a save game, though.

    Where do I put this? It's currently in D:\Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War Rome II\data and i ticked it in the mod manager box but i see no change in game.

    If I would like to reduce the upkeep more, it would work with incresing the "minus" values in the pack file?

    Yes put it in your data folder and make sure it loads before the main mod.

    I did it. I changed to -50 but it did not work on my savegame, no change. Weird as initially the mod worked, i did not restart my campaign when i started using the mod.

    This doesn't seem to work for me at all.
    I use mitch's mod manager.

    Only trying to use this as something weird happened in my game and my income went from like 2000 to -9000. And not even over an end turn phase, just randomly. I don't understand it.

    The new prices may not take effect until you end turn once.

    THe 4TPY cost mod will override this mod so yes.

    Thanks for that, just to confirm 'Loading' it first means making sure it is ticked first in mod manager? I also deleted both and installed this one first, it still doesn't seem to work.

    My Hastati is at - 166 upkeep
    Principe - 222 upkeep

    That's still normal Divide Et Impera yes?

    I tried to use this as well with the 4tpy research/building/cost incress submod and it doesnt work for me either. Ships however are lowered to their standard amount but land units are not. I use the stand alone of version of both and loaded this above the 4tpy mod. Dresden if you can find time can you please make this compatble with the other submod or if not tell me what files in the 4tpy incress mod need to be changed or deleted to make units have standard cost/upkeep.

    I have the same which Grizwald714 on 1.03a, land units no change upkeep units cost.
