Thread: [Tech] Bug Reports 1.0 Version

    Default [Tech] Bug Reports 1.0 Version

    If you experience any bugs using the 1.0 version, please report them here.

    If possible, include the following:
    1. Version of the mod you are using (Steam or TWC).
    2. The circumstances of the bug (when it happened, what were you or the AI doing at the time).
    3. Screenshots or save game files also help.

    As Bugs are reported, I will list them here and also the status of their fix.

    Known Bugs
    - Garrisons have to regenerate at start of campaign in DLC mini-campaigns (Being fixed in 1.1)
    - Garrisons/Mercs have English names
    - If you enter Patrol Region stance directly outside a city, you can enter the city in the stance.
    - Client state levies have been removed because they bypass our reforms system.
    - Color missing on the campaign map in the Bactria region.
    - Either using a camera/script mod or other rare occurrences could bug your scripts. To fix them, download this pack: http://www.mediafire.com/download/fd...forms_fix.pack . To use the fix, put the pack in your data folder and activate it. Load it before the main mod pack and load your save. Save the game, quit and deactivate the fix pack. Start your campaign without the fix pack, it should be fixed.

    Attacked liguria and some of the barbarians dont have bodys.

    Texture missing on accensi and leves (Rome faction, Great Campaign).

    Yes Steam version is currently missing some textures due to mod size limits, I am working on it. Had to buy the game again to get this mod on Steam.

    I'm having issues launching. Downloaded and placed the .pack file appropriately, removed previous mods, restarted steam and my computer, and it's still crashing on launch. I'm verifying the game cache but maybe I'm missing something?

    Hi, Dresden.

    Looking at the projectile tables, I found the line:

    arrow_longbow_horse arrow small_arm_default none 1 low 237 0 88 45 30 5 18 2 False False 0,1 15 0 50 3 0 0 0 arrow_roman arrow -1 False False

    The number in red is the effective_range, and I think it is a typo, been 137 the correct value.

    Now a question (just to be sure): DeI ranged weapons uses DeI_projectiles table, right? The main_projectiles table seems to have the old values. Is it there just for reference?

    Either you have old mods in the data folder that are active without being activated in the Mod Manager or you need to reverify your install.

    I should clarify that I'm on a mac so I downloaded the standalone mod pack and went through the data folder to delete old mods. I'll tinker.

    Also thank you so much for the amount of time you've dedicated to this project. The deep total war itch is being scratched. If the DEI team doesn't get hired on to replace the current CA developers, I'll be upset

    I guess it is the mod size thing with the steam version, but the early Roman infantry, hestati and principaes, are missing weapons

    Yeah, steam fault, just had a battle and my early Roman units had their weapons.

    Hi, first of all thx for the mod

    Here is my feedback (fresh install of Rome 2 + DeI mod standalone only, normal difficulty)

    Playing Mamlakatin Saba

    Turn 9 & 11 : 2 plagues in a row for my army (half dead after 3 turns... I'm cursed, never see that in previous DeI version)
    Turn 10 : Ma'in declare war, I propose a peace treaty just after... they accept (weird, already see that in vanilla but again not in DeI as I recall)

    Also my spy was near Mascat since the first turns (they also declare war on me really soon), they had a +100 public order with their nearly full stack army IN the city...
    Me ? +50 (zero tax in the first turns, normal tax after with my army patroling outside

    3 big problems here (in 15 minutes), I like challenge and I'm really approve giving AI some bonuses but here, feel cursed or clearly disadvantage

    I think there isn't a single unit using this projectile.

    Saba Units have some graphical "problem". The standard slinger for example, the hand holding the shield is going through the shield. Sabaen spearmen with bows have 2 bows, one on back and one in a "holster". the holster is going through the shield of the spearmen, like the hand of the slinger. Also had my first crash. turn 6 i think, i took mascat, the enemy came back to the settlement i auto resolved, then AI factions normally "shake hands" so the player can begin his turn. when the last faction was about to finish his turn, the game crashed. havent tried to reproduce that crash though. I use the standalone version, cleared all data in appdate folder of rome 2 before starting DeI. Max graphical settings. No reason to get in a bad mood you devs, take your time. arabian merc spearmen with unit icon having a bow on back like the normal sabaen spearmen dont have ammunition in battle.

    Would be great to know what version of mod are you guys using Some of these problems may be caused by steam version.

    A lot of missile changes will be added in 1.1 or before in upcoming patches. I simply did not have enough time to do everything as planned, without Gunny it would be even bigger mess! For example now there are a lot of archers, who have great accuracy, but a bit weaker damage, so for example Cretans might have not that high missile damage, but will do a looooot more kills thanks to amazing accuracy. Sadly, accuracy is not based on a single stat, so it cannot be visible in UI.

    Lybyan garrisonws Spearmen missing spears. Also secondary weapon sword is misplaced. holding it at the middle
