Why did you delete "maps" folder? You must only delete "base" and "campaighn" folders. LN specially wrote manual for you. Please read it.
I guess he meant this:
"Before installing the 1.6 patch beta update delete two folders: base and campaighn in mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data\world\maps
Also before installing delete "settlements" folder in mods\Call_of_Warhammer\data" (after LN)
That's what I did.. I read the instructions before installing. But like I said I get the Custom Battles to work but every time I want to start a campaign it takes me to the main menu.

LN clearly stated that base and campaign folders had to be removed.
1.6 update contains those maps so when updating to the new version of the mod you would have those files regardless if you deleted them before.

After 15 turns with Nurgle with a lot of battles absolutely without crash I will go back to my Night Goblins !

New translation available.
Most historic events and character names are translated. A good amount of the new factions' names are still in Russian, though.
I just started playing 1.5.1 but I'd be happy to help beta test the new version. I'd be interested in Sylvania.
DEAR BETA-TESTERS:
I posted a fix to the recent update that I made. There was an error in the names.txt, so new campaigns wouldn't start (you'd get sent back to the main menu), but old ones could load.
I added the original names.txt for use until I get this issue fixed.
I apologize for any troubles that this caused anybody.

Hello fellow Beta-Testers,
I have some interesting news:
Firstly, most names are now translated. I cleaned out the file and apparently, there were duplicate names that NEEDED to be there, haha
Secondly, I found something really interesting while cleaning up the names folder. I found that when using the English names, trying to start the campaign would throw the user back to the main menu, yet using Russian names, the campaign worked fine. I thought that it was just an error with my name translation, and I was only half right.
I found out that in the descr_strat.txt there were characters using the same name! That's a big no-no in scripting, and it's possibly (not guaranteed) why there are random crashes (a character with a duplicate name ID gets a trait, dies, etc.). So, in addition to providing English names, I also fixed that bug.
The duplicate characters were located in the Night Goblin, Chaos Dwarves, and Rebel factions.

EDIT: I had to replace the historic_events.txt with the original file. There's something missing in the file that caused the Night Goblins to crash on start-up. I'll have the translated events back up as soon as I find the bug.

edit : sadly , crash after pop-ups is still happening with Night Goblins, same with Ostland...and probalby the others :'(
