Default Asking for some game files, please help.

Hey everyone, Ive been playing SS for some years now. Gotta say, best mod for M2 I've played so far.

But I recently made a pretty noob mistake. I found a submod that changes the names for certain factions to be a bit more realistic
and it asked to overwrite a few xxx/data/ files.

I, instead of making copies of the files I had to replace just went ahead and replaced them, but the submod didn't work and now my agents have
no names. Id much rather not have to re-download and install the SS mod.

What I'm asking for are 3 files, from the SS6.4 mod
    descr_names.txt
    descr_names_lookup.txt
Both of these are under data folder in the SS mod file.

And also the names.txt file under SS6.4/data/text

I tried to install ssnop v1.1 but I don't know if I did something wrong or if it isnt compatible anymore.
If anyone could please help it would be most appreciated.

You can try the bugfix compilation, it has replacements for all those 3 files, albeit with some minor differences for the better.

Okay, I have no idea how to edit a post or if its possible.
Anyway, I've encountered a problem with the bug fix compilation.

When I go to set up a campaign in the SS_setup, I get an error that says "Error while processing 2TPY.txt'' ''File data\descr_campaign_db.xml does not contain: <fort_devastation_distance uint=''0''/>

I tried enabling and disabling the 2tpy but still get the same error.

yeah this has become a common issue, install the compilation again making sure to follow the indications and it should solve this
