I'm actually really bad at riddles so I'll just post another classic one:
A windowless room contains three identical light fixtures, each containing an identical light bulb or light globe. Each light is connected to one of three switches outside of the room. Each bulb is switched off at present. You are outside the room, and the door is closed. You have one , and only one, opportunity to flip any of the external switches. After this, you can go into the room and look at the lights, but you may not touch the switches again. How can you tell which switch goes to which light?
Some day I'll actually write all the reviews I keep promising...
I turn one switch on for 15 minutes, another one for 5 and don't touch the third one. Then I enter the room. The bulb connected to the first switch will be the hottest while the bulb connected to the third switch will be cold.

That might work but it's not a foolproof solution as it depends on how accurate you feel heat, how quickly the bulb cools and it takes a lot of time, you're very close however.

turn on 1 switch and follow it's wire?
New approach. I turn on one switch for half an hour, I leave another switch off and turn one switch on and leave it on. If I enter the room immediately after the bulb was turned off it should still be very hot.
Alternatively I decide not to jerk around with switches, get a radio set and enter the room. I radio a friend to turn each switch on and off one at a time.

My Answer: Time

Another simple one
Riddle: I'm honest, I treat all equally. whether rich or poor, young or old, mortal or god. Irrelevant of colour, race. Once your time is up. In the end all meet me.

Necronox, you are correct.
It is a stamp. Your turn
I define many things. Everyone receives me and eventually looses me when their time is up. What am I?
