    I decide take a easy ways, yes its will be more job but alas, its can be done, i give up looking xml document just dont understand how to begin with regarding city zone, so i prefer going to actually reduce the projectile range. Since most of faction use Onager so i only need to nerf this projectile unit only.

    After effect



    Now with reduced range to 250 (still plan to increase 25 maybe) the human defender simply cant abuse the OP range by targeting enemy artilery in early moment after battle start, unless they own more sophiscated artilery eguipment like Heavy Onager or Balista



    Early AI tactic by simply sent couple unit as bait, also to let enemy artilery target them.



    Now they send half of their army toward battle in attempt stale player condition which must clog to prevent AI push futhermore. Notice i sent my artilery to focus them, its fatal mistake actually.



    Now AI give fire power to destroy human defender clog, notice i simply cant sent my unit to reach AI artilery due its guarding heavily, notice the cav and range unit act as reserve.



    More bad news AI also bring reinforcement, which also bring couple piece of artilery, increasing the fire power even futher. Which realy seal any tactic to win, since i cant risk outflank AI main melee because their onager will shoot me, not to count cav and range unit that gonna counter me. Anyways i cant reserve the condition . Doom is certain.



    Seem as defender i cant realy do much damage. Next time I can put my artilery behind at least we destroy each other, before i lose. Anyways its almost watching real proper siege anyways. Hell its only minor and open settlement not closed one. I may have advantage number as defender but lose in fire power tactic. Artilery is king on the battlefield.

    It's the Begin war and peace modifier for factions, it pretty much helps rate likeliness to declare war or make peace based off the weights assigned to the values.

    Wow that guide thread is crazy, I guess there is no such guide thread for Rome 2 and Attila, some tables/values are same thou.

    Actually his guide is my gospel when i first learn how to modding AI, in the beginning believe or not i make a mod that have completely passive AI in shogun 2 , darth mod, radious even vanilla do better then mine, which make me quite frustate, imagine need to translate some of his guide into Indonesia languange, while also dealing in uncharted teritory that most foreign newbie modder didnt even think want to enter.

    I wrote lot of pm to him and Uanime5, the breaking point is the part of why AI in korea can be passive, then both of guys notice me the table that need to edit. Then from that thing gone faster. I just find AI part was the most interesting part on the game , then i moved to rome 2 at the end of its glory on December 2014, where i met Magnar , that guys also share passion in AI, actually he the one who help me during transition phase as modder from shogun 2 era to rome 2, (hell i even still use script since i never know Mitch mod manager exist) , completely backwater modder

    What do u mean? U mean when the AI unlocked Ram technology they will automatically use it in siege battle? Dont worry , just put Ram into the siege, the AI knows how to split it army to go through the gate and through the wall at the same time, i usually play siege battle in custom, very hard to defend when the enemy attack from many ways...

    Just a note, DEI renamed and remade most of the units so the technology upgrades probably won't work there. I believe they will still work with the AIO and radious though.

    Dont worry i believe DeI already figure how to get rid old version using script reform, or they can die in battle as usual, especialy with 2.8 its very rare seing old army stay 100 % same like original due high rate or mortality thanks for AI lust for war.
