Most effective light infantry?

Okay, so I LOVE Spain in the imperial campaign, but I have recently found that they do not have the best Light Infantry compared with other factions. SO- here's my question- What is the best Light infantry in Rome Total War

My vote is for the simple Warband. Get off that warcry and they can mob things to death. Spain is at a serious disadvantage with their woeful Iberian Infantry against the Warband. Large shields too.

Hastati. Pila, good morale, good shield, good armor, good attack. Not to mention that theyre cheaper than warbands, and enemy warbands attacking them have lower morale, and can suffer heavily to a volley of pilum.
