The only god they worship is a sword planted in the earth, and they favour a life of relentless conquest. Yet even the Alani wavered in the face of the Huns and the relentless pillaging that followed in their wake. Many fled the carnage, becoming pawns to Romans and Vandals, while others joined the Huns in search of plunder. Those that remain with the tribe, however, possess the spirit of independence that hitherto defined them. They alone can restore the name and fortunes of the Alani people.

Beginning the campaign on the edges of The Black Sea, The Alans lie perilously close to the heartland of The Huns. Born in the saddle, their warriors are peerless horsemen. But they also understand the value of their charges, and are adept at keeping them alive when the odds are stacked against them.

It ain't a city thats for sure. Looks like a camp it got watch-towers and palisade,s. All we can hope is CA really makes different forts/encampments and not like RTW II.

FFS. The Alans were cataphracts. And why do they look like Germanics? What happened to the "Fair Haired Race of the Alans?" They were Iranian Nomads, also reputedly taller than the average Roman (whom was about 5' 8").

Let's see here, Celtic swords, flat shield bosses, 1st century Germanic boots, Medieval Helmets, not even sure what the hell they're wearing around their shins, Deepeeka "Knight" belts, and that one guy's cloak is like wearign a hoodie tied around his neck.

I agree. As I pointed out in another thread, there is a considerable decline in the historical accuracy of the units portrayed in Attila in comparison to Rome II. It's a real shame, but it's still far and above what we had in Rome: Barbarian Invasion back in 2005, with its 5th century barbarian units wearing Imperial-Gallic helmets and Goths shouting "Praise Ares!" after victory in battle. I hope some Steam Workshop Mods will fix these problems after release.
