I tried the new version and I think the problem is that GEMFX thinks wow is dx9 for some reason. It generates a GEMFX9 file when it is used.
The file read this:
[16:02:14] Welcome - GEMFX is preparing for DirectX9 application

[16:02:27] GEMFX successfully un-hooked from 'Wow-64.exe'

WoW is dx9 as far as I know (at least vanilla was)?! If not, just delete the d3d9.dll to force the dxgi.dll (dx11) to be loaded instead. That log would be more important then.
