What should my legions look like?
Or rather, what constitutes a legion in this mod? I assume its not the standard 9 cohorts 1 eagle cohort etc, what should I be recruiting that would present as historically accurate? How many of each unit? Do I have armies made up of specifically Comitatenses, Limitane or Palatinae Cohorts? Do I have both the lanciarii and plain old heavy infantry units? Or do I field them desperately? Do combine the Comitatenses, Limitane or Palatinae Cohorts auxiliary units? Or do I field armies made up entirely of auxiliary units that I send in with my legions? A guide on how Late Roman armies looked, worked and strategized would be very useful!
Thanks in advanced!

Re: What should my legions look like?
Between 500 to 1000 men. Anyway do this:
On the main IBFD Forum search for University.
Then clic on Discussion & Debate.
Then choose one or all the threads, like this on by SBH: Composition of Historical Armies.
Or this one by julianus heraclius: Late Roman Army - Mid 4th Century
Say thanks and give them all some rep!
