Merging a texture file
Forgive me if there is a tutorial on this.. I missed it.
So its been like 3-4yrs since I've touched 3ds or milkshape, and I must not be wording this right as my searches arent coming up very fruitful. What I would like to know is how do I merge multiple jpeg textures that are used on a model into one texture file(our blockset/unit texture file for m2tw) while keeping the UV. It looks like PackerPro for Unity is what I'm looking for, but is there a way to do it in 3ds without having to unwrap and remap everything? Like I said its been a while since I've used 3ds, so I'm playing major catch up on the 2015 version. If PackerPro is indeed the best or easiest way then I'll just get that, but I figured I would ask our awesome mod community first. Thanks!

Re: Merging a texture file
Are you merging 2 units to make a new one?
If you have your complete model, personally I'd just adjust your needed textures into your new texture on Photoshop or GIMP, then just use Milkshape's (ctrl + T) texture coordinator to move the UVs into position. You don't need to unwrap, just remap by moving them.
