    Default The Mad Wolf

Oakheart had spent years wandering the North both below and beyond the wall. Almost all of his former self had been forgotten.

There were some parts of his past he could not shake however, every night as he slept visions of wolves dining in a great hall came to him.

It had taken him years of searching the North until he finally found the castle that was in his dreams, Winterfell. Something about the castle did not seem right though, the sight of it made Oakheart both angry and sad but he could not stop the urge to return to the castle every so often.

A year ago all he dreamt about were three wolves being watched over by a kracken. More recently Oakhearts dreams had changed, when he slipped into a greendream he saw the sea and swamp, then his mind would turn once more to Winterfell. Lastly in his vision he saw the north burn which would wake him every night.

Oakheart was eager to discover what these dreams meant. Much of the north was surrounded by seas so Oakheart decided that the swamp was the easiest location to find. After some time he reached the murky swamps of the neck and there he began his search for the meaning of his dreams.

Equipped with a stone head spear and his usual skull that hides his face he began his journey through the swamp.

Oakheart had arrived at a bad time, significant transformation of the marshlands had started to take place the land was beginning to look unfamiliar.

What did this mean? Who was behind this? He glanced and noticed the banner of Karstark flying high in the air. They were the ones committing this crime against nature Oakheart would have none of it.

Though mad Oakheart knew when and when not to pick a fight. He would be slaughtered if he made any moves now. How could he put a stop to this? Surely not all those men desired the destruction of nature. Oakheart knew people in the north, tribes that were more in tune with nature than the lords in their castles. He would start there, and one day he vowed to return and put an end to these people.

He journeyed for months spreading the message among the tribes of the north of the travesties being committed in the south, some already knew of the damage. Many seemed angry.

Oakheart knew he could use this to his advantage. Travelling from tribe to tribe Oakheart made pleas to the people and leaders alike asking them to join him in the south to stop the danger occurring.

OOC: what tribes are you referring to? Most are lords with castles like the rest of the Seven Kingdoms. The only ones that would qualify as tribes are the mountain clans in the other side of the North.
