How to change the unit cap limit in a army

I am trying to change the unit cap of certain units for example tirarii (have no idea of how to spell it but the the elite roman spear unit for the first 2 reforms) because historically they had equal numbers Hastaii, principles, and triarri in their formations and wind rim really into history I like to try to make my armies historical acrate as possible. I also want to incress the limit of several auxilla units since rome used a lot of them and 2 per army seems to low to me.

Thank Dresden & Nightowl. I just imcressed the unit caps for a few units now I just to to check to make sure it works in my campaign.

The way of editing should be the same. So if you know a little bit about using the PFM you should be able to do it yourself using the guidelines found in the link Dresden posted

As Flash said. It's pretty straightforward, no special modding powers needed for this.

Hello everyone!

Can you please tell me which table is used to edit the recruitment limit for a certain unit in 1 move?

I found a cap for the company where to change.

But for example, with the Cohort of the Eagle, such a situation.

You can recruit 1 unit per army. If you transfer a unit to another army, you can recruit it again on the next turn.

Is this limit changing?

In the main unit table you can set or change unit caps.

Gosh I know this is from 7 yars ago, BUT: any chance you could mention which file and which column edits the unit cap per army? no guide on this is to be found at the link you provided.
