Is it just me or did that statue change while I was off looking it up?

    You got it right!
This sculpture appears in the novel, Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.
It was perceived to be too sexual to be in Vatican so Pope Urban VIII ordered to put it in some Obscure cathedral.

    Von Manshtein lol, guessed!
Well, if I, Belisarius, the Black Prince, and you all agree on something, I really don't think there can be any further discussion.

Ha very sneaky - it's Paul Hausser but you left the SS bit out of the unit designations in his previous commands

Good point - I was going off the 7th Army command. Hausser took it over from General Dollman in 1944. It can't be Dollman though because he died in 1944 and couldn't have been a POW. Therefore it must be your choice General der Panzertruppe Heinrich Karl Alfons Willy Eberbach. It's still sneaky though because he was only the deputy commander of 7th Army.

He actually was the commander of 7th Army for 10 days until he surrendered (Aug. 22, 1944 - Aug. 31, 1944) after Hausser was injured and relieved of command due to it.

    8. Some multiple WW2-related questions.

    - What was the 'only' British territory occupied by German forces during WW2?
    - The name of passenger ship that was sunk within 6 hours of the war broke out?
    - Rommel called the El-Alamein minefields by what name?
    - What was the name of Hitler's brother that died from measels?
    - Rosselsprung (Knight's Move) was the code name for which operation?

I've read something also about one Alois Hitler jr., don't know if that's true though. I looked it up and came with this:
