    yes v.61 has now been released but steam workshop version isnt working yet.

    Please lower reduced upkeep via research from -5 to -3
    please reduce siege turns from 22 to 8
    please reduce siege attrition to besieged slightly
    please reduce agent action poison results from 15 to around 11
    please reduce research durations at higher levels
    please add wealth to black build chain starting at lvl 2
    please remove TTT ancillaries
    please simplyfy seasons effects a little

    please simplyfy seasons effects a little - nope, that system is as realistic and in depth as intended and too complicated to edit. You could make a sub mod to simplify it but the base will stay as is

    sure, there are instances in the ancient world where sieges endured for a nearly endless time (Anatolian and other people seem to have built giant underground dwellings in effort to live out besiegement) But as a standard we cannot suggest the siege would last year after year. Besides, how does it play out in the campaign? I'll point out that no gamer would wait 22 turns but rather auto resolve after 3 or 4 turns of enemy attrition. Further, the siege research chain doesn't make any sense when -1 or +1 siege hold out brings the total from 22 to 21, or 22 to 23.

    If you intended to remove the starve out enemy function you've succeeded frankly.

    So when are y'all going to start overhauling the Briton factions? I was just curious because I haven’t heard a word about it. Also this might be a little premature, but how are you going to do British Chariots? Because by all accounts I’ve read that chariots were mainly used to transport infantry quickly on the battlefield, but would it be possible to dismount only the infantry and leave the drives on so the chariot could still move around unlike dismounted horses?

    British overhaul will be apart of when we do the Celtic overhaul and redo all the celts we've already done

    Not sure sorry, we are a small team and our focus is mostly on getting the new content added and less on promotion and info stuff. Hopefully we will be able to provide more info as to what we have done as there is clear need of more.

    we have now started compiling the next hotfix, keep the feedback and bug reports coming so we can fit as much into this update as possible

    Looks like we may have a fix for a scrash resulting from the liberation of the Oscii emergent faction for the next update now (thanks to balbor (implementation) and AriesChief (testing))

    My mini mod for attila TW (A resonable populace) will be included with v.62 and hopefully a fix to the common crashes which I am currently looking for. So far its been narrowed down to most likely an AI issue. Will post when we know more.

    I started to watch your let's play Vae Victis with Athens and it's beautifull. What you did with the seasons, attrition and all is awesome. I hope those vids will give your work the attention it deserve.

    One thing, though, I absolutely hate R2's battles quickness but the battle between Athens and Sparta have a very low kill rate. You even had to fast forward for the most part of the battle... Is it because of the hoplites or are VV battles as slow as DEI's ?

    Hoplite vs Hoplite battles are slow and something is needed to be able to flank and break teh hoplite formations. With legioanries flanking hoplites it would be much easier but with peltasts it is more difficult hence the slow battles.

    Battles against other non greek factions will ofc have very different paces. Each culture plays differently both with how to defeat/play and the length of tiem battles last.

    If your commands delay sytem work it will be a huge step for R2 modding :-) I saw something really good in the same battle : a cav unit pulled back just after it did a charge almost routed, at least you could see that it was disorganised and morally weak for a short moment before being able to come back in combat. This is one of the most awesome stuff I saw in a R2 mod video recently !
