As far as we know this invasion lasted up to 498 and for the 3 years Syria was occupied by the Huns from 395 to 398. Also Huns managed to reach the royal city of Ctesiphon in 395/6,
but they were expelled by the King of Persia from there, so Huns were unable to capture the royal capital of Persian Empire.
