Yeah I wanna see it too. Great word of mouth on that one.

I'm curious too but my expectations are so low that if it turns out being better than say GT or any good at all then I'll actually be pleasantly surprised. One of the things I disliked most about the new material is that the biggest design changes seem to be just the colour pallet (Red Goku, Blue Goku, who knows what else). At least GT had some design changes like SS4 and Super 17 etc. While I really don't like GT and I hope Super destroys it, but real shame that good ideas like Shadow Dragons and the Baby Parasite might get dumped. Good ideas but absolutely terrible execution and most of the show was filler anyway but the Super 17 arc was one of the worst things I ever saw (worse than the Majin Buu Saga).
It seems to have been quite popular during the 80's and 90's in South America and most of Europe. It also aired in Canada in like 2005 even though the show was so old.
While I enjoyed Saint Seiya as a child I don't much like the series anymore even though I got a slight nostalgia from it. The writing is just so bad and after the first season it's pretty much the same formula. While the show was fighting genre it seems to be very character driven which is terrible because a lot of those characters are either very badly written or don't get enough development (Seiya is by far the worst culprit, where as the most interesting characters are Shun and Ikki the show should have been about them).
This hemisphere is really lazy then. In Canada for instance most schools teach no languages other than French and in Public School French isn't even taught until the fourth grade.
In South America it seems to be much the same where although English is taught in all schools (well the useful ones, in the towns that can afford it) the children don't really learn anything unless they go to some private school where English is drilled into them day and night.
Well the tournament battles didn't go on for several episodes but many of the arcs did, quite needlessly at that. Where Goku could have overpowered most of his opponents (outside of the tournaments) seemingly with ease they have to stretch it out for several episodes for some reason. This was mostly the case in the Red Ribbon Army arc and then after that when they had a huge amount of filler episodes between tournaments and major arcs. Personally I don't think there is much of a divide between the two series as the Frieza saga seems like a continuation of Dragon Ball and really it's the Cell saga which sets the precedent for the rest of the series (including the bad ones which unfortunately is part of the reason for why the Buu saga is so bad). When most people say Dragon Ball they tend to mean both the old show and DBZ as originally they intended to use the Frieza saga to wrap up plot points that Dragon Ball missed and to give a better conclusion to the story. Then they decided to end it with the Cell saga but success being what it is they decided to continue into the Majin Buu saga for no reason other than cash (then GT as well in a studio cash grab).
Capitalism is the way! Frankly the Socialists always struck me as a group of delusional utopians much like the Anarchists/Libertarians.
Never heard of either Dae Jo Yeong or Dong Yi.
Just saw the new Mad Max at the cinema, all I will say about it is that it is a dumb action movie from the first to the last minute. If you want any form of story skip it since it has none (and I do mean none), if you want action, gun fights and explosions go watch it since it might satisfy you - depending on how you like popcorn movies in the same style as the first expendables or transformers.
Also, not worth the money wasted on watching it 3D. Maybe if you can get a 4DX ticked, but meh.
Erdogan says otherwise. Do you contradict the "doctor of nations"
Derpy is 100% right about Dragon ball as far as I'm concerned.

Hmm did said that he is a socialist?
Well maybe he did idk (then he did wrong) but Muslims dont need to be part of any club, as Islam has rules about everything, even for "bedroom stuff" with ur wife
But if a muslim says that "we are socialist muslims, so we are anti-capitalist muslims" etc something, well they lacking info of their religion then.
Anyway I don't wanna start a religious discussion here, not the right place for it anyway, just some general info

I had a dream where I bought tons of cards (small, size like credit card but with landscape on it) and was going to return most of them for refund, but refused, and then someone told me I could find some rich guy and have him sell them for me..... then I woke up and felt lucky that I didn't actually do that in real life.
each card is like $1000-1500 (not sure if it's our dollar or US dollar - $30-$50). Does such card really exist? They don't seem to have any practical function.

But it does have a story. Anyways, it was a great action movie.
Also got a job yesterday, but all I'm doing is sitting at a table sifting through folders and removing staples for the scanners. It's all documents from some school district. Amazing how I'm looking through confidential documents despite being entry level. Today I even found birth certificate copies.
So since my job is so monotonous, I'm allowed to listen to music. I was given the idea to listen to podcasts as well. Thus, I was wondering if there are any good podcasts I should listen to on the job?
Try the Samurai Archives if that interests you.
What type of podcasts though?
I confess, i liked the Buu saga, but it should have ended with Super Buu vs Gohan. i bet 1000 denari that Tori & friends will forget about Uub in super
And i saw the Mad Max movie, exactly the kinda of movie i love. Action movies. I cant watch any other kinda of movies at home, but action movies must be seen at the big screen for the full experience IMHO
And speaking of overhyped sequels and movies, i'm eager to see Star Wars 7. JJ made Star Trek too Star Wars, and now i need Star Wars to be Star Wars! On unrelated note, why does the internet hate Gungans so much? At least they had bio engineering, and lost the battle, much more realistic than super elite 501st imperials getting wiped by carebears. Jar Jar was just one dude, and repeateadly in the movie he is said to be an total outcast ( i meant who would want Jar near you? )
I hope they don't forget about Uub but do his character better than in GT, I hope they exterminate GT. As far as filler goes I didn't mind the whole Great Saiyaman thing at all. Majin Buu (fatty) annoyed me though but he was passable. Super Buu was seriously bad ass and Kid Buu was by far the worst. I agree that with all that Gohan hype and the whole planet of the Supreme Kai it just doesn't make sense that Gohan couldn't defeat Super Buu. After that point I just gave up on the whole arc. Although I liked the Vegeta and Goku working relationship dynamic.
While from a critical perspective Char might not be wrong thing is though that there was no distinction between DBZ and Dragon Ball other than for airing purposes. Since the shows are the adaptation of the manga and there was no DBZ manga. The DBZ was straight from the one and only Dragon Ball manga although GT was not in said manga.
Personally I though the first Star Wars 7 trailer was too overhyped. It was just a bunch of random clips which weren't really related to each other. Too damn hard to predict if a movie is good based on a few random clips. By that logic we should have all known that Phantom Menace would suck ass.
I have nothing against Gungans though except maybe that they speak weird, the only disastrous Gungan was Jar Jar.
For comedy: Regular features (joke being they have new features every week, some episodes better than others), Fistshark marketing (the convo between three marketing execs in Boston, quite funny if surrealistic)
For interesting: No such thing as a fish (the QI podcast), Skeptoid (Brian Dunnings skepticism podcast), Serial (This american life spinoff, about the murder of a girl and if the convicted boyfriend is guilty) and the Infinite monkey cage (Brian Cox' and Roberts Ince look at the universe and it''s different sciences with a help guest or too).
Note that while NSTAF and infinite monkey cage are in the "interesting" column, they are also quite funny.
I like to listen to TotalBiscuit's co-optional podcast

How come you people (younger than me right?) don't find Mad Max 1/2/3 very weird? The scenes don't make sense, music is terrible, and characters are all hilarious at best. I couldn't find any similarity between Mel Gibson in them and Mel Gibson in later films (ex: The Patriot) except the look, but early Gibson looks really dumb.
