I lost somewhere between 6000 to 8000 posts in purges. Atleast that's how I remember it.
Indeed, the entire Colosian population was subjected to amputation in those dark days.

Around the time you left. Nah, I've only been a mod for little over a month.
And I lost at least 3.000 posts back then, didn't really bother me as it was great for the post/rep ratio.

I think a couple of months ago. So Cahoma, have you decided to become more active on TWC?

So...it's basically posting about post count now? Is it always like this with a fresh chat thread incarnation?

With all the timezones, greetings become needlessly complicated.

I'm at work after a long long day, and I'll be here all night. That sucks balls.

Well we can talk about spiders. I saw a red one and a black one today in college (not sure

about the spices). But as usual girls freak the out and kills it.

I also learn about the Goliath bird eating spiders, and these ers are huge!

Posts about posts...an understandably frightful concept for any outsider here.

Speaking of spiders, my AP bio teacher showed my class a video of a puppy sized spider eating a gecko while it was still alive. That was.....interesting.

Ah, but the thing on the picture isn't a Theraphosa blondi, it's not even a tarantula.

Puppy sized...well, depending on the breed and age of puppies..buuuut yeah, the spider, most likely the aforementioned Theraphosa sp. (could be blondi or stirmi actually) aka goliath birdeater tarantula is a species that is known for reaching 30 cm legspan, with other spider species possibly reaching 20-25 cm span. In their natural habitat, they can hunt small rodents, reptiles, and some are even known to specialize in (obviously small) snakes. Got a link?

And yes, spider venom paralyzes rather than kills. While the prey is still alive, the spider releases a cocktail of enzymes and other chemicals from its digestive tract which then liquefies the prey, and sucks in the resulting 'soup' Yummy, isn't it?

Oh worry not, in case you ever meet a Theraphosa face to face, you'll be concerned about the cloud of hellish urticating 'hairs' this cute little critter unleashes as its primary means of defense. The genus has a reputation for having the worst U-hairs, which itch and burn for days, and gods help you if they get into your eyes..

Spiders are COOL Except when they go into your mouth.

Did you know that you eat 200 spiders each year while you sleep

    That's a myth.

Hmm, I should post more pics into the insect/arachnid topic

Unfortunately, all I've got here is a small bottle of ice coffee and a bigger bottle of Coke.

I've settled for Doctor Who for now, but I'm afraid even the Doctor won't be able to keep me awake up till...meh, I dunno, 4-5 AM when I have to do a bit of actual work (I'm part-timing as a night receptionist alongside my studies).

Today was just terrible. Waking up HOURS before I was supposed to, taking Dad to the hospital, then math test in the afternoon and no chance of even napping before I had to get to work.
