I assure you I did not stop at 2010.
I thought the Curia dated back to '03? I always thought it was kind of cool we had a literal Triumvirate. Back then, the administration system actually reflected the Curia.

Hmm, lots of interesting things been said here, but I really agree with this in particular. Even though the things that happened back in the olden days affected the way the forum is today, we've all (except the Australian guy) been using the forum in the post-sengoku period in which most of the has been secure, so while knowing that stuff is fun, it doesn't really make a difference. Except to instill in new citizens a desire to use the CVRIA to acheive some kind of goal. Obviously a mistake

BTW, if any of you guys are planning a trip to somewhere random this year, come to Osaka. It's a fantastic place

You are most likely right. I haven't read anything dated to 2003.

You know as a historian, I must object!

Apparently, the Curia is in an identity crisis; it claims to be more than role- playing or at least object to its practices, but then is often perpetuating the behavior.
Personally, I do not find the Curia dispensing awards to be a bad thing; it is what makes this site unique is that it does recognized its members in a meaningful way. The Curia lack of proposal power is demonstrated by the fact that three proposals [[Decision] New Usertitles provided by MMFA | [Decision] Historical Community | [Decision] Modding Community] voted on and passed by the Curia have yet to be decided on. I understand making major changes may take time to work out the details, but it does illustrate the lack of faith in the Curia in general. Then again, who's fault is that' the Curia does do a great job of discrediting itself. It does beg the question: If proposals are not an exclusive thins (Questions & Suggestions) and the Curia has no special weight, why make it exclusive to citizen participation? The Curia would actually never vote for this. In fact, it has summarily voted down similar proposals/ suggestions. The admin, out of respect to what the Curia once was (why history of the Curia beyond 2010 is important) would never unilaterally make this decision. So here we are in our quagmire.

The Curia is an odd beast. It wants to do more, but resist doing it. Proposals that suggest that the Curia might be mitigated are met with staunch opposition or ignorance, but once the supposed crisis has been adverted it relegates itself back to indifference until the next role- playing incident flares causing renewed call for reform with the same result.

I think you cared too much for an institution that is rooted in self- denial and indifference,

Awesome! The same goes here.... there isn't much to do in Changchun than to see Puyi's Palace which he didn't actually live in much because he didn't trust the Japanese! I will be moving to Indonesia (Jakarta) so the offer will extend to there.

"Chronicles: China features the Chinese assassin Jun in 1526, during the downfall of the Ming Dynasty. As the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood, Jun returns to her homeland with a vendetta. Newly trained by the legendary Ezio Auditore, she is hell-bent on exacting vengeance and restoring her fallen Brotherhood."
Wait wut? The Ming dynasty fell in 1644. So am I to understand that "Eunuch Templars" are trying to take over China? Dumb idea to put Templars in China but they'll totally do it.
Also some slaver called Yu Dayong is a villain, but why does the Assassin Order have to fight slavers? Can't they just call the authorities? Here's what happened to the last slavers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Xicaowan

    Ubisoft do you even read?

"Famous general without peer in any age, most superior in valor and inspired by the Way of Heaven; since the provinces are now subject to your will it is certain that you will increasingly mount in victory." - Ōgimachi-tennō

It's funny how things work out. Years ago you started the whole King of the TD thing with that poll, now you're oppressing people who want to restart it
