    Hi!
    How do I make battlgrounds flatter? When a battle ensues on the campaign map, what or where are the files that decide what the battlefield will look like? What do I need to change to make the battleground be much flatter?

    Battlemaps are generated based on
    a) the campaign map data for the particular tile, ie map_climates, map_ground_types, map_heights, map_features (read this)
    b) certain parameters in descr_geography.db (read this, and use this)

    Making maps flatter means more uniform values in map_heights (tiles should have the same or similar RBG value as their adjacent ones) and also decreasing the relief parameters in descr_geography in order to make the game generate maps as flat as possible.
