    Here we are people! The first custom battle release of Medieval Kingdoms Total War 1212 AD! Before I begin I have to give a MASSIVE shout out to the MK Team, in particular Ltd. and Lord Giovanni for helping make this mod possible! Got to give a huge kudos there. I also would like to thank all the mods and resources we got permission from for this mod, we can't thank you enough for your permission. Everything in Medieval Kingdoms is free to use by whoever wants it as long as you give proper credits!


    Install Instructions:

    Download the mod.
    Extract the rar file to your data folder.
    Enjoy the first Medieval mod out there!

    I might post it to more sites, I'm also uploading this mod to Moddb as well. I might make a couple of balancing patches based off what people tell me. Allow me to copy what I posted in the what to expect thread for a second. What you're going to get isn't some crude early or pre-alpha or anything like that. There is a rather large chunk of overall progress done.

    Mongol Horde
    Cuman Confederacy


    Around 130 units with virtually all custom models and textures. (With a HUGE amount of help and support from these modders listed here:http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...d-Team-Members)

    Plenty of new UI work done including Unit Cards, Faction Emblems, Unit Descriptions, and more!

    Some animation and gameplay changes to more suit the timeframe, nothing huge though. I really hope you enjoy this mod and don't forget to give me any bug reports and feedback here:

    Man being in New Zealand sucks. Its the 19th here.

    In fact no you managed to release it at 11:59PM NZ time on the 18th. Since New Zealand is the closest place to the international dateline you released it on the 18th for everyone.

    Well, what can I say: what warman said, so thank you to everyone who supported this mod , in any form, especially those nice ppl who let us use their work, thank you to Lord Giovanni for giving us those nice faction descriptions and previews, and generally being a nice guy and a very big thank you to warman, who apart from putting his rosters together, had to hold things in one place, coordinate everything and being the first impetus for me (indirectly, with his tutorials) to begin modding R2 also on the 3D level.
    And to the player base: enjoy this mod and give feedback ! Have fun !

    Warman and Ltd., it's an honor and a pleasure to work with you on this mod. You are both extremely talented modders, and will do great work for this mod, and for TW in general in the future. We've worked hard to make this day a reality. Take your (stage) bows, my friends. You deserve them. Then take your (long) bows and knock a knight or two off his horse! Congratulations!

    Small note.
    The English Billhooks are missing there name (Have the info description though)
    Peasants is spelt wrong for all the factions.

    Wasn't sure where to report any bugs or missing stuff.

    Ace mod!!

    Hi ! So I just checked a lots of units and it seems the mod have a little problem !

    On the West Europeans units ( France, Scotland, England, Castille and Venise ) it seems that on the little windows showing the face of your unit's officer, they don't wear a faction coat but an average surcoat :

    For the crusaders knights, they wears their surcoats normally but the officer doesn't wear it on the little windows too.


    Also, it seems some Mercenary units have a problem on the little windows thing too :

    Also, Billmen don't have their name written on the custom battle menu


    For summary, Only extremly minors problems, the mod work perfectly and you can be realy proud !

    Hi reading with envy all the above posts, unfortunately having no luck downloading the mod. I don't know if the problem is with Media fire, the download goes down to about 12/ 9 minutes and then stops which is about 630 mbs. Should I have downloaded anything else ? IE your mod from Steam ? I would be grateful for any help thanks in advance.

    Stefankollers, you don´t need any other versions, steam version or anything else to play this mod. Could it be some settings in your browser, your bandwidth ? Honestly, I don´t really know. Maybe it is too many people accesing it at the same time.

    Also, does the mod still allow decapitations ?
    I´m sure warman will look into the daggerman issue.
    Regarding your second question: yes, if you have the blood and gore pack, heads will roll...
