    Hi everyone,

    September 16th, the Release Date of the Total War: ROME II Emperor Edition is drawing closer and to ease the burden of waiting, today we are happy to reveal the Campaign Map of the Imperator Augustus Campaign Pack, which will be included in the Emperor Edition and free to all existing owners of ROME II.

    Imperator Augustus will be our biggest Campaign Pack to date, spanning across the entire Map of the Grand Campaign. The start positions and territories for the 10(!) playable and 65 minor factions reflect the geopolitical situation of Europe in 41 BC, the height of the second Triumvirate. Which sides will you chose?

    Any confirmaiton if this map can be used for the main campaign instead of what we currently have?

    Isn't the map exactly the same as that of the grand campaign? In that case you'd just be swapping an identical map for an other. Though, there seems to be some region changes. So, nevermind.

    Dacia and Getae have the same faction symbol, are they being considered the same faction just changing the name based on time period?

    Also: Will the marcomanni be unlocked for Grand Campaign? Armenia will be so, I'm just wondering.

    Will these new factiosn (marcomanni and armenia, also be playable in the normal campaign?
    Also great map, i like it. Cool that you added Sextus Pompei as playable, being the son who will do what his father could not.

    Exciting news ! Thanks joey, it great the whole map is involved ! Very immersive

    A little disappointed Numidia didnt make it in as a playable faction to be honest...

    Sicily with three regions nice. I like the fact that this time we feel a clash beetween massive forces, especially many romans one (a little like in rome I, but with a more proper civil war), I like also the presence of a playable Parthia even if seems a little nerfed, probably with client states (but at least, less than the seleucids). Also there are barbarian outsiders that can use the situation of civil war. However a can see other little nerfs, like the generic factions of Gauls and Iberia to rapresent a not total control of these areas. Nice to see Judea, is more interesting if they have some unique nice units, at least two or three.

    However, I hope that after the civil war is won, you become "Rome" and your capital move to Rome, can you confirm this?

    Yeah, i'm curious too if there will be space for an african faction (no carthage), i think also that Numidia will be probably the best candidate, also I think that in this scenario, could be a nice one to choiche for an attack to Rome from the desert.

    But Dacia is Getae and it is already said here that Armenia will be playable in normal and Augustus campaign. I don't believe that Marcomanni will be playable in normal campaign, because it is not in main campaign.

    Yeah, I think so, too. It's always been this way. Factions from DLC-Campaigns will be playable in the main campaign.
    It's gotta be a Chocolate Jesus to keep me satisfied.

    Interesting.... With the fragmented starting positions for Lepidus and Marc Antony I can see a lot of variables in gameplay and possible outcomes. I like it. I have to agree that not having a playable Numidia is a little disheartening but oh well. Things are looking a little better and perhaps I will step away from work and get back to playing Rome II a little more.

    Sounds extremely interesting, also considering that late period + new factions should bring a plenty of new stuffs and units. That could be the good coming after one hard year. Well, 8 long days to come..

    I like the new rovneces in the northeast, i never understood why ponto-caspia looked like it looked. Extending Scythia is a better way to handle it IMO.
