I am messing with matched_combat and battleconfiguration animation tables to try to make it so that katana units cannot reach yari ashigaru when their spears are in front in battle ready stance.

I know this is possible because when yari ashigaru are in spear wall formation, the katana units do knockback animation and never reach ashigaru. how would i make the same happen for regular battle ready stance?

btw this will be a part of a overhaul mod where I have created dynamic unit cap for all units based on buildings (many are based off region specialties):
horse specialty building for katana, yari, great guard
archery dojo/stables for bow samurai, bow cavalry, bow ashigaru
ninja village for battlefield ninja
marathon monks renamed to yamabushi and require holy shrine for cap
naginata warrior monk and bow monk renamed to naginata/bow sohei and require holy shrine + monastry
katana samurai renamed to samurai retainers are capped by katana dojo
etc...

also many campaign ai table entries/garrison entries modified so that the dumb battlefield ai is compensated for (fortress walls will always be manned on every side by archers, autosolve much more in favor of defenders with missile)
