Thread: New Import/Export Food Edicts

    Default New Import/Export Food Edicts

I realize I put these in without much explanation so I will attempt to explain their function here. By the way, the most recent version of the standalone just now uploaded should have the working versions of the edicts.

These edicts start at 0 effects and are totally dependent on the buildings you choose to build in a given province.

The Export Food edict is dependent on farms and food ports. The more you have, the more effective it is (the more food you can export).

The Import Food edict is dependent on trade ports and markets. The more you have, the more effective it is (the more food you can import).

Exporting food uses food/growth and increases income. Importing food gains food and growth but costs income...

Good idea on the importing food mechanic. I wish there was some way to get the edict UI to expand to have more than 8.

Yes, I really wish that was possible also. Also thanks to you for explaining how to get buildings to interact with edicts in a post awhile ago. That post is what inspired me to make these edicts.
