To qualify for the Asterix Loincloth award, the nominee must have demonstrated purity of mind and spirit on TWC, in the pursuit of humour and good times for all members. A member of any Rank is eligible to receive the Asterix Loincloth award, but must also meet the criteria to become a Citizen.

Anyway, I've spoken to Roma. He does indeed have an infraction from the 26th of March 2014. I say we should just continue with this thread and only give him the award after the 26th - if he passes of course. There's no point in archiving this thread only to restart it in a couple of days.

You where bringing it up though, a PM to the proposer should have been sufficient so that he can withdraw his medal proposal instead of publicly hanging the candidate telling everyone that he has an infraction.

It was and is common practice to state objections publicly. And as far as I remember a proposer is responsible for his proposition, be it citizenship or a medal. If proposers don't do their job propper, I suggest to not blame it on somebody else.

Whenever somebody is proposed for an award in the Curia, he will be scrutinized in public, if you object to that, better not propose in the first place.
