    Default Community patch 4a crash

    I have been having troubles with the new 4a patch. I am making the tread in hopes that this problem gets fixed.

    Here is a crash log after deleting spin 3.0 from the descr_projectile file [line 220] M2TW.system.log.txt and here is the crash log after deleting projectile super_banana2 from the same file. M2TW.system.log.txt

    Ok. good to know.

    So I would now like you to put back the "projectile super_banana2" in to it's spot in descr_projectile.
    Here it is, just copy past it back in.

    Then in the descr_projectile file. I want you to delete all instances of "aimed spin 3.0" and "aimed spin 4.0". Put in their place Just "aimed".
    After that, play HTW and see if it crashes. If it does post your Crash log.

    Okay, I have done what you said. Here is their crash log along with my edited file just in case. M2TW.system.log.txt descr_projectile.txt

    I do have the file backed up so no need to worry there. Another note is I am running the gold version but I changed the install directory to match with the mods install directory.

    Yeah, I'm having the same issue as well. My Game Crashes upon startup. It doesn't even TRY to load. if it helps i am Running the Non Steam Version of the game.I'm Kinda stumped. I even wiped my Hyrule Folder and did a fresh install ,then applied the patch after ensuring it worked. Still nothing.

    Does HTW work fine by it's self? Before you apply any patch. Or does that not even work?

    My game runs fine without the patch installed. I don't even get the turn 15 crash and I've been playing with this mod for a while now.

    You may have to use an older Community patch or non at all, until we figure this out.

    yeah, it functions fine without the patch. Ill try going backwards through the patches.

    i was able to get 4a working, the problem is 4a is running medieval2.exe instead of kingdoms.exe

    according to the readme...

    Community Patch 4:
    Bug Fixes:
    - Empress and Palagard are now generals
    - Zant can make the Twili Barracks
    - The Deku Tree's Grove now shows up on the Battle Map.
    - The AUI and the Executable Windows Batch Files have changed from Kingdoms.exe to Medevial2.exe.

    htw is a mod for kingdoms, not vanilla m2tw
    so, to fix 4a, only copy 4a's data folder into your hyrule folder, do not copy the aui.bat or the executable.bat

    campaign is working fine for me and 4a's changes are there (i was able to recruit bronze knuckles as gerudo)

    Mien are Both using Kingdoms.exe. Im using the Non steam version. So i dunno...

    then that means u didnt install 4a correctly, the 4a changelog says "The AUI and the Executable Windows Batch Files have changed from Kingdoms.exe to Medevial2.exe."
    try it again on a clean hyrule folder, but only copy the 4a data folder into the Hyrule folder, not aui.bat or executable.bat

    Dude. I KNOW how to read directions. I'm not stupid. And no, I've tried that. Still does not work. I put a crash log up for a reason.

    @ Windrider37.
    Have you tried out the new Community patch 4b? Does it also crash on you?
    If you are not playing HTW on Steam. Then you need to follow the directions for the Non-steam usage.
