    And I mean building UI images. If the MTW images are actually insufficient (I don't know if they are), then I am intrigued to do them instead.

    Some images we have and some could be taken from MTW. However there might be a style clash... To give you an idea about "how many":

    We have about 1000 buildings and each building can have faction and/or cultural variant.
    There are 7 cultures and 29 playable factions.

    So that means 1000 - 36 000 unique UI images. However the max number would be significantly reduced by obvious duplicities (one UI image for a building can be shared by multiple factions/cultures). Not all buildings are available to all cultures and factions further reducing it. All in all my very rough estimate would be about 3000 unique UI images plus about double that in slight variants. We could re-use MTW, M2TW and our own we currently have to bring this down some.

    So you are looking at hundreds to low thousands ui images. BUT do not forget it needs both big and small UI. Small UI for the user interface and for tech-tree browser and big one for the card of a building when right-clicked. On the other hand it does not need to be super high quality or anything. Often it would be just cropping down / tailoring actual contemporary art or something. Though still unified style would be always an issue and main struggle imho.

    Quite a lot of building UI alone for sure!

    Is it a mix of different building UI, or is it a category of building UI that's needed?
    I am asking because if someone did the remaining 1000 random building images, then it wouldn't be a unified style in the end, right?
    Would it be possible to find enough contemporary images for all the building descriptions? Then you'd only need to create the small ones. And then that would be a unified style.

    I gathered that you need 1500 unit cards and that Hengest has only about 300 contemporary unit pictures.
    I think contemporary unit cards looks rather nice actually, even though they don't tell a lot, but they are colorful!

    Ideally though (in my mind) it should be, as the large image in the description, a screenshot of the unit in battlemap (easy peasy). And then if it's in stock also a contemporary art picture.
    This would give a nice perspective I think. To see both side by side.
    And then the small images should be done in a somewhat simple unified style by an artist.

    What's the situation on portraits, are there enough contemporary images?

    I will PM some UI ideas and pictures of mine hopefully before long.

    He has been under development many years and all that we have received this wonderful map with lots of forts which could make 50% less(in my opinion).
    Not blame me, I'll wait for this mod as long as you. it's just my emotions

    I got chrash wen I try end turn. Also when I try fight quick or custom battle Any ideas why, what to do ?

    The release that is out for the public now only allows you to view the strat map. Anything else is either unfinished or unplayable. Its a pre alpha anyways.

    I read somewhere that a new alpha version is soon to be released. Is this correct? And if so, could you provide a rough release date?
    Keep up the great work guys, I'm sure there are tons of people who are eagerly anticipating the release, me included .
