It would be cool. I have tried to upload to moddb but it failed many times so I just gave up.

Just a quick question, after downloading the torrent version how long did it take everyone else to unpack it because it's just going and going for me.

It took a good few minutes but not massively long. I unpacked it to desktop first and then moved it into the files, I don't know if that makes any difference.

BTW Res, did you ask to have DotS moved to the released section?

A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

Best try again. I got a popup related to admin permission problems that caused it to spend several minutes 'processing' the files without actually unpacking them. Which unpacker are you using?

Well if it's still not working you could try a different one. WinRAR, Winzip, etc.

Currently trying all the factions, and I must say this feels more of an alpha then pre-alpha
All in all, I'm quite impressed with map, as everyone and new images for buildigns and units. The start from a "scratch" type of campaign is a great feature too!

Hope you'll continue with this project, it's really promising! Oh and PSF are like gold mines

I was just looking at the amount of work that went into buildings and some of the names of the units for the both Seljukids; I am mindblown. Who the hell did you guys work with? There is SOO MUCH DETAIL from economic history to socio-political divergences.
This and EB is the ULTIMATE work, this will surpass anything CA will do in the next 10 years.

I feel quiet desperate as I don't feel like I can contribute. But this mod MUST go on.
    ---

Additionally, I'd like to see some units. Are they already made or are they just place-holders? Especially for Middle Eastern factions...if you don't have any, I reckon I can help with research on that as well. But there already is so much material, especially due Broken Cresecent.
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

I know this is a pre-alpha so you must know a lot of the units in custom battle are peasants. Just my opinion but the use of the Medieval paintings for the unit cards clutters the interface and is confusing to try and distinguish the different units. They are nice to look at but I don't think they're right for unit cards. I hope you don't get mad at me for saying that, it's just one opinion. lol I know there were countless hours of modding involved with the mod and I for one, thank the entire team for what you've done here!

2Copperknickers: I asked but Ishirion told me he does not have permission and Gig told me he got some HW problems so he would forward the message... not heard from anyone else yet.

As stated in OP, we have the units and I have someone working on it atm. I will release patch(es) as the new features become available. Other people showed interest in working on the mod so hopefully there will be something out of it.

Small unit cards are placeholders. They are scaled large images afaik and are supposed to be replaced by proper small unit cards later.

It's a pre-alpha. If you want a playable game in the true sense, best wait for the alpha version when the descriptions and basic mechanics are added.
