-It depends on the goverment and the mod isn't final so there are still a lot of units that are not in yet.- low selection of units (I can recruit only about 8 types of units after 75 turns) - no "barracks" buildings or anything, so I'm basically stuck with Classical Hoplites or Elite Hoplites
- battles are slow - everyone is moving kind of slow and my units always create a huge mob, where I cannot distinguish my units from enemies
- only a few buildings to build so now I'm just waiting with about 0.5% of population growth (already on low taxes) to upgrade my city so I can build anything
-Well they aren't blobing for me they just break the lines after they fought long enough and a lot of men have been killed.
-I actually have quite a lot to build and a lot of them have requirments.
I think I hit a bug.
The Bactrian script for sending tribute to Seleucids. I clicked accept when I didn't have enough money, and from that moment on, clicking accept or decline on subsequent tribute popups did nothing...no money sent when I accepted and no diplomatic penalty when refused.
I downloaded and installed it without a problem.
I played some 10 turns as Rome and i'm still wondering what the minor settlements are.
As a playing note, i find certain buildings too expensive and too long to build, especially see the marginal benefit they give.
I've seen it in the very first turn, then it disappeared. It should be roughly centered just above the minimap. What i can see now is a sort of wood where the year should be written.
Started playing as Macedon. My initial rating of gameplay:

One question: What do PSFs do in this mod? Is there any point in having them garrisoned?
Thank you!
PSF can make a few of your units in the respective PSF to have no upkeep (such as what happens in normal settlements).
Then, as throngs of his enemies bore down upon him and one of his followers said, "They are making at thee, O King," "Who else, pray," said Antigonus, "should be their mark? But Demetrius will come to my aid." This was his hope to the last, and to the last he kept watching eagerly for his son; then a whole cloud of javelins were let fly at him and he fell.

Started a Pergamon campaign and the game is simply epic!! The battles are so much more realistic,
Awesome mod guys, i really like your work.
One question though, i dont receive any missions and i was counting on them to expand. The AI is what is it. Also, i noticed that the rebels a bit stronger than usual.
As said before really nice and I'm enjoying it.
But aren't the skirmishers and archers a bit too weak,at least in some cases.

Thank you, i've read the "not bugs" thread and i was wondering what PSF were. Minor settlements, now i see. BTW, what the acronym means? It's far from minor or settlement...
Another thing to note.
All the units i have - and it's a fair huge variety - do not have any special ability: no wedge for cavalry, no flaming arrows for archers... nothing. Is it intended for that kind of units - the ones you can recruit as Rome in the early game - or no special abilities?

Are enemy units supposed to rout so quickly? They barely sustain any casualties but still rout. All the battles I've played are so easy.

After a nice little playthrough with Bosporos, it is really extremely well done The description, the units, the atmosphere, the graphics, the economy. Everything is really nice. It truly was worth the wait. Thank you!!!
Now, with the criticisms (small, I had a great time with this first contact):
*The pathfinding to enter camp settlement is... interesting? I discovered it was buggy when I asked a unit to advance a little to hold a line. They started turning to the right.
*The "green" trait is weird. I tried bringing some generals with my faction leader to safely educate them in the art of war but that didn't work. I tried besieging with several armies lead by green generals but that didn't work either. It has to be a human-played general leading to get bloodied... Nothing too major but still, it bugged me.
*My standing with all factions started to drop after we exchanged trading rights (even the ptolemaioi as Bosporos...).
My only gripe so far are the skirmisher units. They are important in EB warfare, and were what made EB so different, IMO. Guerilla tactics actually worked, you could win with fast, lightly armoured skirmishers.
But in M2TW they simply don't fire any full volleys, they barely throw their missiles at all.
played since I woke up today until now...made me contemplate on what I am doing with my life
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

very good looking units!great lookingcampaign map , great info card and well detailed info text
the only thing are the battles that are a bit strange, the settlements looking very good but there is not much room for moving, you got too follow a path and can not walk on grass, maybe when settlements get bigger then there is more room for moving.
and the battles are long, this is not bad,but playing with Aedui attacking a slave settlement i had very much problems too kill a little unit of archers, and when i was on the winning hand and had much more troops then the slave faction, suddenly mine units started too rout, even mine factionleader,do't know why they suddenly rout like this.
but i am enjoying this mod very much and this was only mine first battle,as the battle was over and clicked on the rebel settlement i saw only 2 units left, lol so now they are surly a easy catch
