There for the taking. Just need to make those chances count and keep it tight at the back.

Well, you give away a stupid 3rd goal at home, and that's the price you pay. Good effort in the second leg but overall, they had the experience within the team not to have panicked like we did in the first leg and played in such an open fashion.

Thrice in three years, le Arse lose by two goals at home and then produce a worthy away performance in the ⅛finals. So reliable…

Given the current standings, Borussia out, Man City out. I don't see anything changing unless miracles happen.

Gosh, we got our asses handed to us by Juve, didn't we? :/

That was a pretty clear and sad story. Grats Juve.

Hart was man of the match. I have never seen him being so impressive as tonight. For the sake of other PL clubs I hope he won't maintain such form in league.

Absolutely. This was disillusioning. Could've been the last CL appearance for a while.

Dortmund is just having a bad season. It happens, especially when you get deprived of your top players one by one. They'll be back in a couple of years.

The loss of Everton just confirmed their bad season. I must say it has been a very poor European season for the English teams.

In any case i hope Bayern/Atletico or Juve wins the CL. And for the EL i hope Wolfsburg is gonna win with De Bruyne's outstanding performances

Sadly yes, for ~18 months probably ...

Hopefully. The loss of Lewandowski, while always expected to have a great influence, proved even worse than expected and at the same time our big purchases of the summer didn't pay off ...

Ah, no issue with getting rid of players like Immobile to be honest. Won't help you much with your current trainer though

Enjoy the moment ... and hope not for Bayern in the quarter-finals.

Give them some time. When Lewandowski came from Poland he was a nobody (unless you play Football Manager) and backup of Barrios. He owes a lot to Klopp and he was a dick to leave that way considering Klopp invested years in teaching him how to play at this level. Now it's going to take some time to teach others the same way.

    Don't dismiss Sevilla just yet.
