Creating an Epic army (Of Squats)

Yes, not only am I creating an army for Epic, which is not longer supported by GW, but I am also creating it for squats, which hasn't been supported in almost 25 years! (Because I'm that big of a masochist. )

Already got my first model for it.

Man do these old models take alot of work. Just spent 3 solid hours cleaning the surface of it, and I'm still not done. And this is the easiest model!

Look at all the nooks and crannys I have to clean with this one! (Im just using the pic as an example, as the other one is still in the mail.)

Blimps almost ready to be put together. I just need to finish off the crevices first.

Little update on my army. Models are taking a heck of a long time to clean. The entire surface has oxidized, so I have to scrape the entire surface of each and every one. I haven't even finished the blimp, let alone the colossus plus coptor.

You need to use something harder than a tooth brush

Best use an abrasive agent and steel wool. That harsh combination may create microscratches, but I don't see how they should be noticeable after the paint is put on. The surface quality is going to be impaired anyway after you removed all of the rust.

I feel your pain, I wanted to do a Fantasy army of Chaos Dwarfs. The Big Hat kind...I got one model so far XD. I also got some of the old skeletal chariots for the Undead, which are getting harder, and harder to find.

Keep posting the Squats, I would hand in my beloved Enclave for a new Space Dwarf army made in the ike of the old one. I actually love the Squats, and all their weapons, and armor. That Exo armor on a trike...Apparently my tastes are in a minority, within a minority .

Man is school killing all of my free time. Haven't been able to get to GW for 2 weeks. Plus it probably doesn't help that I'm sore as hell due to trying to exercise for the first time in years.
