Losing Control Over Units, Hardcore Addon, Please help?

One of my saves is stuck on this, is there anyway to disable this? I lose control over units for 5-10 seconds then control comes back, I really hate it. I am aware that it was my mistake since I had the hardcore add-on enabled but I disabled it and it still does this with my saved game. I even made new saves after disabling it but it still does it.

Would uninstalling the mod work? Also, if you uninstall the mod and re-install it would it still work with previous saved games? As in the AI mod will be enabled? I am playing THERA the great torment.

Aw crap now I have to start another new campaign.

Even uninstalling this mod won't get rid of that? I am just trying to disable it now, I disabled it in the set up but it won't change with this save. Is there anyway I can remove it? Would uninstalling then re-installing work?

I am just worried if I removed the mod and installed it again then it won't be activated with my current saves.

Yes, if you entertain the challenge to reverse engineer the savefile, and modify it accordingly.

Yea I just started a new campaign, I thought about that but it would have taken to long. This new campaign is going better than my previous one though, my previous one would have been more of a challenge since the enemy faction near me was beating me pretty badly.
