Well, for spears you can use the shield model provided by CA and then save your spear in the shields folder in raw-data. also make sure the textures are there, in the tex folder. So you would have weapons in the shield folder, but that's a small sacrifice.
For bows and horse armour, I don't know..
I am trying myself to get bows and crossbows to work when animated, so that the new model appears when using the animation.
as for horse armour, you can ask warman, he did create / import / work with different horse armour and animations than what R2 / TW:A had
I only re-textured the already existing horse armour models

ps: this thread is not exactly the place for these kind of enquiries. you can ask them in the workshop as well

Any news on the development and release date? Would it be possible for the modding team to release a preliminary version for us? Without campaign, only to see how the units work.

    Very nice work!

First time posting here in the MK threads, great work on all fronts.

Please make this mod a reality at some point, though I am a fan of the Warhammer genre I feel like CA has betrayed the fans by going the fantasy route.
Medieval times are the best times, can't wait to play the campaign, best of luck and please don't give up.
"The only question that remained was whether the founders knew the final result of their creation, or if they themselves where the victims of a misunderstanding.
In the latter case it was the duty of any thinking human, to press himself into the front of this depraved movement, to perhaps still prevent the extreme, in the former case the founders of this peoples disease must have been true devils; for only in the brain of a monster - not of a human - could the plan for an organisation take meaningfull form, whose purpose must lead toward the end result of a collapse of human culture and thus to the desolation of the world.
In this case only battle remained as a means of final delivery, battle with any weapons that the human mind, intellect and will are able to comprehend, regardless, of whom fate would gift with it's blessing."

I propose a campaign map: it isn't historical with the mongol empire but it's the best solution. Vassals (=satrapy in rome 2) aren't in this map but we can see the tributary states (=client state in rome 2).
Almohade will be in war with Castille, Aragon, Portugal and Leon. Papal states will be in war with county of Toulouse and will be allied with all of the catholic states. France (+Duchy of Brittany) will be in war with England, the Holy-Empire, the duchy of Brabant and Flanders. Empire of Nicaea will be in war with the sultanat of the Rum. Latin empire (+Kingdom of Thessalonica) will be in war with the despotate of Epirus and bulgarian empire.
    I only propose this diplomacy.

z_turoczi the Vlachs were orthodox. Only in Transilvania the Population was catholic in the todays Romanian lands.

Any chance we can have an update on how the mod is progressing, it's just I have been following this mod since it was first announced and check the threads everyday. Will we be seeing a custom battle demo coming out anytime soon for the Attila version of the mod? If not keep up the good work anyway!

That is correct. I guess you meant to address jules napoléon khan. I eventually responded his his post and quoted his ideas about the map adding the link from wikipedia.

Indeed, Attila´s setting is simply not so fetching like others Its a shame that CA dont want to give us an actual medieval game (Although Warhammer its a nice theme too), Medieval 2 is still my favorite... until now

One question/idea, though; Wouldnt it be possible to represent feudal system through static hordes which are commanded by non-family generals (with low loyality or sth) or calmed rebels? (they mostly stay in the province where rebellion started and could declare war if theyre pissed with your politics ) You have fully expanded, well ordered nations AND a proper feudal system.

Just throwing in this thought. I really like your representation of the feudal system but imagine how incredible the map could look and how wonderful short the loading times could be, if there are less factions. Its just an idea.

I am just remembering, the Ai could have problems with so much vassals and the campaign flow development/flow could suffer from this

But i am no gloomster. Take the way you want and keep going, its a revolution in total war, either.

I am working on the georgian roster now. Serbia's early / mid roster is more or less done as per the preview shown. later era units still need to be done at a later point

We will have to fiddle around with emerging factions and name changes, but I wouldn't rule it out
