"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

And now I think only on things to which we provide Attila TW, but I think it would be good if people who own Rome 2 have the opportunity to enjoy custom battles with the last update before we are finished with something on Attila development
These days I tried the mod on EMPEROR EDITION and it not working

Indeed, I do intend to continue working on our mod, though possibly not as regularly as I used to before. The thing I just realised is, that ppl may not buy Attila, afterall, though for me it was clear from the very beginning I want Attila and took it for granted that we do port our stuff over to it. Personally I do see a lot more potential in TW:A for our mod than in R2, even if it ist just for the simple things like Constantinople, the availability of crossbows, a family tree with king / faction leader and heir (and evrything that comes with this) , buildings that are more medieval-isch than the ones in R2, new faces (those huns, if only by their faces and armour, could very well serve as mongols and cumans to some extent, obviously modified here and there), the faces by themselves look more lifelike as far as I could judge from ytb-ers lets plays.
TW:A does look a bit like a mod for R2 so there are obviously no huge changes, but even the ones I mentioned are enough for me, more or less, to want Attila, even though modded and modified....
Of course if we do decide to port over to Attila, ppl will have to buy that as well to play our mod, though until we finish our mod with buildings, adjusted family tree and all, steam may have some sales so that ppl can get it cheaper.
Warman, I haven`t checked what things have changed with the EE and why exactly the mod doesn`t work with it, maybe it canbe mended eeasily ; also it might take a while after the release of TW:A until our mod is in a playable state.
Obviously I don`t want to put all the burden of decison on your shoulders alone, I am just stating my view.
Porting the mod to Attila makes sense to me, and I think many other mods will be ported to Attila so people will buy the game anyway at release or later.

Aside from the discourse about Attila I have managed to get some more units done or adjusted. I adjusted the variants on the Communal Militia shields so they get more simplistic designs. I added some more late era medieval helms from one of Narf's packs and added them to several units. I have changed the Zweihander unit to be a later unit with different armor and helms. I implemented the HRE version of the Halberdiers and High Era Knights. And lastly I'm still tweaking the pole-arm units so that now they have a interesting hybrid of soldier types. I have had great results, expect some screens and maybe even video tomorrow.
Okay, so here's the promised screenshots of some of the newest stuff I've done. I might of shown some of these units already but I have adjused things a lot so I'm showing them again.

Man, it looks great, especially with the new unit cards! But now I see need to do more for new models!
Nice job But what about England? We need some of those fancy new helmets!
just to be honest though i think all the units are a little to focused on there countries colors. You need to work in some personal coat of arms.
I got some more stuff to show. I have essentially finished the roster expansions for HRE, at least for now considering we might divide this faction up. I also added some HRE related emblems to some of the leather jerkins present on some of the medium Imperial units like the Castellans and Ghibellines. I also have one last unit for England I forgot to show, it's an early era cavalry unit, Miles!

So now I'm thinking of either expanding Scotland or Venice. I leaning more towards Scotland because Venice might be among the factions that will benefit from when we port over to Attila.
This mod becomes more and more beautiful. Great work!

Is there any list of already made and planned factions in this mod?
Those Halberdiers look damn sexy. I can't wait to play this mod on Attila
Need to add the new helmets to England!
Dude the novelty of that joke has worn off. Please stop. However I did implement them to the English units somewhat, so don't worry.
Anyways expect some screenshots tomorrow of all the new Scottish units, about 5 in total, some you've seen in the video already but yeah. After that it's on to Castile and Venice. Here's the plans for what I plan to add in terms of units to both factions:
Venice:
Stradiots
High Era Knights
Condottieri Pikemen
Condottieri Infantry
Condottieri Archers(Will be replaced by a crossbow unit in Attila)
Castile
High Era Knights
Halberdiers
Sword and Buckler Men
Light Lancers
These units will be intermixed with the accompanying visual changes that I'm adding to current units of all these European factions to make them more distinct from each other. After that I would like to add some Italian units to the Latin Empire so their roster is bigger and might revamp Poland and Hungary's knights to the style that I have with my knights as well as giving them proper Squire and Castellan units. I want these factions to be different from each other as much as they can be. Now whether or not I get to Poland and Hungary all depends on whether or not I can get the other stuff done before Attila comes out. I'd really prefer to have that all under my belt before release day so I can just focus on looking at Attila that day.
Just a quick say on the Scottish units in the video I absolutely detest the weird tartan on the armour, I'm really sorry your work is fantastic but that just looks like Shortbread Tin soldier men! Also maybe for Scotland anyway use a bit less plate and that - I know you want it to be like late period but we never historically fielded many soldiers in full Armour like that if not full armour maybe just toned down suits for an idea but great work - I must say you and the 1212 team must be one of the most talented modders since Darth!
Okay, I give. I took out those variants. Meanwhile I've made some progress with the Italians, if all goes well they will be done within the next few days. I've also been working on coding in Ltd's Middle Eastern units. ( ) As a brief aside, ME faction names are somewhat confusing. There's just too many factions with "A" names that look, act and sound very similar. There's the Almohads, the Ayyubids, and the Abbasids. All with different types of leadership. I ended up calling the Ayyubids the "Ayyubid Caliphate" when in reality they were a sultanate. So I had to change the name just now. I guess I got the "Caliphate" part mixed up with the Fatimid dynasty. They were both states around Egypt at different times but yet have different types of rulers. What also doesn't help is that a similar named faction, the Abbasids also have the "Caliphate" title and they were...
"Oh no I've gone cross-eyed."
Anyways, pardon my snark. I've made a good amount of progress today. That is all.
Got some overdue screenshots of the new Scottish and Italian units for everyone.

So, assuming I didn't mess these up too badly, I'm going to move on to the other factions that need an expansion still.
