What in your opinion was the best season of SOuth Park?

Mine was season 8 in that you had Up and Down Steroid, Passion of the Jew, Stupid Spoiled whore Playset where of course Paris Hilton got what she deserved, and finally mwhat IMO was the greatest episode ever Good Times with Weapons.

Season 10 had the wow episode. Season 9 and 10 were both excellent. South Park is one of those very rare programs that has improved over time.

The wow episode has been the best episode of season 10 and season 11 just plain suck with only a few decent episodes. The only memorable episode from season 11 was the 300 parody and that episode clearly showed that the show has reached a ceiling when it comes to shock comedy as well as them running out of steam.

I would have to say season 8.
So many great episodes, Walmart, Paris Hilton, critter christmas.
But season 11 might take the lead tho since it started very well.

I still like the first season episodes the best.

They weren't preachy, they weren't political or involved in big issues, or anything. The first season episodes were just, pure and simple, straight-out, flat-faced toilet humour.
Which is, in my opinion, the best kind of humour. That kind of humour just brings you back to your childhood, to a better time, when you still had your carefree youth ahead of you. It takes me back to a time when all the best shows were still on TV, and when the age of Ren & Stimpy style gross-out humour reigned supreme.

I can't recall which episodes go with which seasons but some of the best ones were in the middle - I know that much...the Junior Detectives one, the PETA one, the LoTR one, the Amazon rainforest one ("ugh...and chicken wings...") and the one where Cartman starts the Christian band are all favorites of mine.

Season 8 was the best South Park season in my opinion as well. We got to see awesome episodes like “The Passion of the Jew”, “Up The Down Steroid” and “Cartman’s Incredible Gift”.

The best "season" of South Park is their commercials where they only have at most 60 seconds to try to make a point instead of 23 minutes of blatant vulgar comedy. Like, say, the Redskins Commercial and other such things.
