Default Question about attacking a besieger

    Hello everyone,

I started playing M2TW again after 5 years of absence and i started with my beloved Russians again. I loved playing the russians against the mongols. I used too attack them once they were surrounding a castle and besieging it. I would use some spears under the gate to lure them and then volley after volley from my archers would decimate the mongols who were lured by the spears, the other mongol armies would than come by the castles and get the same treatment. I used the timer to end the battle and than started all over again. This was so much fun to play and see.

Perhaps the patch changed this but now i can only attack them once in one turn. I used to attack them again once the screen got back to the campaign map. Is it true that the patches changed this?

    Thank you for your wisdom.

Wrong forum, friend. This is for the first Medieval: Total War.

Unless, of course, you simply made a typo. Russians against Mongols was always a fine showdown.

EDIT: On second reading, seems clear you're talking about M2TW. :
