BullGod Style cards for Divide et Impera

Here, you can find a list of Bullgod style cards for DEI. Firstly a huge thank you to Bullgod, the original creator of these cards. All artwork is based off of his original card mod and you should visit his post first to see the fantastic work!


The Original Bullgod Unit Icons Project: Link

Firstly you should download this pack, as all the vanilla units are re-done here and you will also need these for DEI. Instructions are on his post, and you can chose between the "loose file method" - copying the icons directly into your Rome 2 data folder, or you can install it as a mod pack file.

BullGod Style Cards for Roman Auxiliary Units

New cards to go with my Roman Auxilia units for those of you that prefer this style.
I made these by editing original cards made by BullGod, Carreto, Mlsergey and others.




To install, simply place the ui folder into your Total War Rome II > Data folder and merge/overwrite files.
No Mod pack is needed. (To uninstall custom ui cards, delete the folder)

BullGod Style Cards for Historic Legions Submod



Some great custom cards have been made by Scaevola and compiled by MagicCuboid. This pack gives every single Marian and Imperial legion Cohort it's own unique unit card, including Eagle Cohorts and First Cohorts!

This is a pack file and needs to be loaded before both the DEI pack, and the historic legions pack to work.

Instructions:

When someone encounters problems, that prior installed unit card mods work, but not the historical legions, try this:

1.)
The legionary unit cards must be loaded before any other mod, even BullGods. The game simply loads pack files in alphabetical order. Simply put an underline character (or two) at the first place of the file name. If you let your win arrange the files of Rome's data folder in alphabetical order, the legion unit cards have to be in first position.

2.)
Make sure you don't have any unit card mod apart from pack files, which messes with the same unit cards (!). Rome always put these cards first. Simply delete every unit card and unit card mask in your data/UI which has an actual legion number on it.

BullGod Style Spartan Cards



Some nice custom Spartan cards made by Spiritus Tergi, now they will stand out from other Greek factions.

Don Diego you did an outstanding job here, congratulations...as ya mentioned in another thread, i too simply can't play without bullgod's unit icons style, to addictive, hehe...may i suggest, because ya have the passion for it do the same unit icon style for the DeI historical legion submod? i just kindly ask for it, if ya can't, no matter...good that you are member in this great modteam...plus rep for all your work and my respect...sincerly c. bingerus

it was actually a lot of fun making unit cards. I know atm the new AOR levie troops use copied cards of other units so I might work on them next, and I could do historic legions in the future, not actually played with them yet but will give them a go when I get later into my campaign. Great to know people are enjoying my units.

You can easily do it yourself. There are plenty of unit cards you can use as a mask to create the missing ones. No coding needed. Done it myself in 15-20min. Works fine. The unit cards of the historical legions don't show individual features of this very legion, like the yellow shields of LEG Hispania. That would take more time, of course.

If you want an extra hand, iam ready. I made the unit cards for LEG XXI Rapax, III Augusta, XV Apollinaris, IX Hispana today, using their colors, shield painting and style of helmet. But it's a pain for all those legions I cannot recruit in my campaign. Those Legions I mentioned where thrown into a random battle, so I could see them on the actual battlefield.

Okay, I made an additional one: LEC V Alaudae, but I have much to do the coming week. I dont know how much I can do till next weekend.

Every unit has the right type of helmet, colors, style of armor and the most exact painting of their shield I managed to paint.
