A few questions from a rookie
Hello, everybody!
I recently stumbled over the Sundering. I have played about 100 turns, and I find it completely awesome.
Thank you so much, modders! I have come across a few puzzles, that some of you old hands might be
able to solve for me. I have read through the posts here, but have failed to find answers:
1. I seem to be unable to convert castles to cities and vice versa. Is this
a conscious, fluff-based decision (ie. Lothern should stay a city and
Anlec a castle), or is there some other reason for it?
2. My priests of Asuryan are unable to challenge and eliminate clerics of
the Cult of Pleasure. Are they not considered heretics like in MTW vanilla?
3. Fleets seem to sail much slower when transporting troops. I must confess,
that I don't remember, if this is also the case in other Total War-games.
If not, are they supposed to be slower for some reason?
4. I have taken several settlements (primarily castles) from the enemy and given
them to my allies, but more often than not they revert to cultist control
shortly after, forcing me to attack them again and again. This happens, even
when I convert most of the population to worship Asuryan. Am I missing some
important piece of information, or are some settlements hardwired to be nests
of cultists?
Hopefully some of you can help me to enjoy this great mod even further. Thanks in advance!
Best regards

Re: A few questions from a rookie
1. It is intended to reflect fluff
2. Intended aswell, this way the cultists can use the "jihad" mechanism and launch massive invasions.
3. Maybe ships movements need better balance.
4. No idea. Keep for yourself what you conquer.
