Some units from Sandy's Western Unit Overhaul 2.3 (infantry) are still missing right? The model for the venetian heavy infantry for example. Are you going to implement them in your next version?

How stable is this submod?
This stable. (No crashes for 553 turns. In some campaigns, there are still some very very rare hard(unsolveable) CTD's happening from time to time unfortunately though.)
@crosscheck: I don't know, I implemented them by checking sandy's list. I think I got most of the units, but perhaps I missed one or two.

And that's impressive, what faction are you playing?
No faction at all, it's a completely Ai controlled campaign I ran for testing purposes.
Wow, England and Scotland are still on historic borders... in my game, England reduced Scotland to practically nothing, only to be dominated by William Wallace and lose everything! Really interesting to see... maybe I will post a map of my own when I get to a similar turn count.
Factions are so hard to kill off though, so many are still alive! I suppose that is pretty realistic.
Also, what happened to Trieste?
That Hungary is overpowered.
EDIT: Ok, so I started playing and: "8 turns for a god-damn farm! You must be kidding me!"

Haha, well it's not like you build one single farm. It's more like establishing a certain farmtype in that whole region. For which 8 turns are pretty short I'd say.
Also, hungary mostly gets crushed pretty hard in campaigns. Im quite happy that they've become a powerhouse in one.
Trieste got cut, since I overhauled the HRE-Regions quite a bit to match the historical "Herzogtümer" and "Marks" more accurately.

As you see, most of the factions are alive, the englishmen are doing surprisingly well this time, as well as egypt. A lot of different powers, still no major faction which conquered everything.
If we can keep the player in this kind of slow-progress as well, I think the game will be in a pretty good state for the next release.

Yeah, that's really awesome to see that things go so differently. I think AI factions find it very hard to kill off other factions, whereas the player has less difficulty - this is added to by the rebellions bringing factions back from the dead.
in my campaign, every faction with a city capital (not a castle capital) are back from the dead, only Serbia which is disappeared forever
but i think the AI is harder to become a vassal

First Time Player: Which faction to start?
depend on your playstyle what you want ?
i would suggest norway, france, hre, eastearn roman empire, and seljuks( pick this if u want to enjoj great roster and getting plenty of vassals.. and then u get cancer when mongols invade. )dont play iberian factions, fatimid,abbasid, ottomans, serbs.. because they will get better roster in next version, so leave them for later so u can enjoy them max
Wow, didn't realize all those factions would get new rosters! This mod really is amazing work.
