EB Online Tournament 2014: A Call to Arms

Hello gamers,

If you are reading this, you maintain an interest in the first incarnation of Europa Barbarorum. In honor of the announcement of EB2's public release in August, I am hosting the final EB Online summer tournament. Due to the steady decline in the size of the multiplayer community, I have decided to make this a single tournament instead of multiple month-long tournaments. It will also have a different format than usual: single-elimination with best of 3 matches. There are prizes for 1st and 2nd places. Let's consider it a celebration of both years of entertainment and replay value that the EB Team brought us for Rome: Total War, as well as the sequel which will bring us many more years of fun to come.

hmm from what I read in the Vartan thread at the ORG it seems in the first round players are seeded randomly. Check that thread too and the tournamnet bracket at Challonge.

there can be another issue: some of you havent played yet so you need to find out first if your instal is compatible.

Hi all. I've registered all who mentioned interest in playing. If you cannot play and you state this before the start of the tournament, I will remove your name from the list of players and reseed. Otherwise if you concede during the tournament, your opponent will move forward in the bracket. With all due respect, please don't abuse this fact. Regardless, thank you all for your interest. I appreciate it, and hope you will enjoy!

For anyone wondering, yes, I would be grateful if you participated in the Org thread. There is a reason I am not collecting replays and scores in two separate threads. Thank you.
