Thread: Black peasant unit card and Unit name not changing?

Icon5 Black peasant unit card and Unit name not changing?

So I decided to do a little modding of the vanilla RTW files recently and two problems emerged. So I tried to give macedon some armored hoplites and tried to change the name of the unit to hypaspists. However the unit card was not that of the armored hoplites, but rather that of a black clothed peasant. Not only that but the name remained unchanged. This stayed the same for all the other units I gave to other factions. Any ideas?

Welcome to the world of modding.

In order to get the non black peasant you must look for the UI folder (which you must unpack)

    Step seven:

copy the Data file and go to your main RTW files and paste the data file and overwrite everything (I don't think you would need the picture to tell you how to do that).

That was very helpful! Thanks. I'll try it and see if I have any problems.
