    Wow I was thinking of waiting a couple of years tell someone made rome 2 good, but by that time rome 1 will have all the features I wanted Thanks guys!

    Rome 1 keeps getting better all the time, and except for the initial cost it's all free with new gorgeous mod releases even after 11 years, while Rome 2 just keeps you charged for stupid add-ons without adding significant progress or enjoyable content.

    Well, that's just my opinion, so do your own research to tell me if I'm wrong.

    Also, anybody else ever thought of how modders are a lot more dedicated to games than the people who make them in the first place?

    A question, are you planning to remake the diplomatic system?

    A simple system like the one in Space Empire 4 (as far as I know it should work with an array of counters and a fair amount of triggers), would be already a great step forward.

    The thing I really would love is the ability for nicer interfaces. More clean and easy to use and all that. I don't particularly like the new Total War games, but I DO like the interfaces.

    But I just thought of something kinda important: will this work for the 1.5.1 patch that Steam did? Otherwise people are going to have to torrent the game to play with this.

    Is it possible to allow RTW engine to use more than 2GB ram from what you are doing? Or has this project stopped?

    I imagine the project is same as it's always been; slowly creeping forward. Not enough people with free time on their hands know C++.

    I'm starting a programming course in a month though so maybe in a couple years I'll know enough to be able to help!

    Redfox is currently not working on the hardcode. He's really independent of what we do so if he decides to do something in the future, great but if he doesn't then that's okay too. Maybe in a few years the source code will be available, who knows.

    So at this time its unsure if we'll ever be able to use it to unlock hardcore limits?

    I assumed you might have access to the code, from reading this:
    Most of all we will have the ability and permission to unlock hard coded features in RTW thanks to RedFox. How will we continue the history of such a beloved name?
    One of the few to still have his first avatar in place here on TWC.
    I sometimes miss this place you know. This is where my journey began.

    Permission from twc and ca to edit but we don't have the source code. Trust me it's extremely difficult to get many things unlocked. We do have the things we unlocked saved but we won't release until we are finished with development.

    Don't increase unit size to 1000. Do you even imagine what will become sieges of cities and how these large units will run on streets? Increase number of slots if it's possible.

    I think they meant the maximum number of units in export_descr_units, not the unit size.
