Default 2014/2015 Football transfers thread.. Yeh it's that time again folks..

I was thinking it's a bit early to be talking transfers. Surly (as Arsene has said) there won't be much business before the world cup.

    So today sees the announcement of two big signings;
    'Costa' to Chelsea. £32m
    'Shaw' to Utd. £27m

    'Adma Lallana' to Liverpool. £20m

(done deal) Arsenal Target Josip Drmic signing with Bayer Leverkusen who, indecently have been buoyed by the pledge of another long term Arsenal target 'Lars Bender' committing his future by stating he has no intention of moving. As does Draxler - staying at Shalke. And Rues staying at Dortmund..

In other news Rio Ferdinand has announced he is moving on from Utd, leaving the fallen premiership giants facing the loss of both their most experienced centre backs.

Sites to keep an eye on for rumours/deals..

You forgot the countdown for how many days left for Arsene to purchase anyone
So 112 days - surely even Arsene can find someone in that length of time.

I thought it might be a bit too too early for that.. But no fear, that countdown will start after the WC if no one is on the books by then..

Tim Sherwood has 'parted company' with the Spuds..

Not surprising but I think he did enough to earn a season at the helm..

Vlad Chiriches, Erik Lamela, Etienne Capoue, Roberto Soldado and Jan Vertonghen will be leaving the Spurs this summer with at least 3 winding up in Italy.

Tottenham are also looking to get Jay Rodriguez from Southampton

A bunch of clubs have scouted him and his agent reckons Arsenal were among them. However, there is another story going round that Le Arse were actually after 'Jason Eyenga-Lokilo' who is set to start a trial.

I highly doubt they'll let go of Lamela already, maybe a loan deal back to Italy.

Depends who the new manager is and whether he thinks he can get something out of him. But on the evidence of this season the media think he'll never play for the Spuds again.. He's also been dropped from the Argentine world cup squad, that might make him want out...

Arsenal to buy Angel di Maria? Daily Star reports

There again if City in for him may have no chance unless he is bezzie mates with Mesut?

I've not checked the rumour mill today, I'm surprised Di Maria is the only one.

Oh wait!! We're going back for 'Carlos Vela' too, aparently we've activated a 'buy back' clause in his contract for the paultry sum of £3m..

Can't see us getting Di Maria. even if money wasn't an issue he's more likely to move to City to team up with Aguero (who is his bezzie mate)..

    In other news.
Lukaku to Atletico in part exchange for Costa.
Whammers in for Sunderland midfielder Jack Colback.
    Luiz to Barca.
Southampton hold out for £25m for Lalana from Liverpool.

Iirc Messi asked Barca to transfer Aguerro if they want him to extend his contract.

    @loli: could be.

City won't sell and Aguero has stated he has no intention of moving. Realistically if Messi decided to turn down the new £15.5m a year contract offer with a buy out of £200m who is going to buy him?

^City...maybe some random team with a lot of money like Monaco.

Arsenal currently linked with Benzema, like most years.
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/foo...m-Benzema.html

I hope the Vela rumor is true. It'd be nice to cheer for a Mexican player all the time rather than having to root against them in CONCACAF competitions, since Vela's likely retired from international play.

The FFP would have a fit.. I can't imagine any one spending that much on one player.. Not even Messi..

Arsene is obsessed with Benzema and the media know it, so do Real.
    Benzema is not coming..

We shouldn't have let Vela go in the first place. The talent was obvious but Wenger just didn't give him a chance. Problem is where would Wenger play him. He works in a two man system and unless Wenger is planning a tactical overhaul for next season....

Sorry for double posting due to the nature of football transfer ruomours stories surfacing daily/hourly..

Any way. No surprise this one has just hit the news..

    Suarez to Real £70m...!!!
real are reported to be looking to off load Benzema (yeh that old chestnut) to fund a move for Suarez.

Napoli to pip Arsenal to Schneiderlin.. Grrr, might depend on whether Napoli can sign their first choice Mascherano.
Everton and the Spuds after Loic Remy (I imagine if Lukaku goes).
Chelsea to offer Lukaku new two year deal.
Bayern to challenge Barca for Luiz.
Joe Cole off to America where he can supersize his meals.

The Spuds plan mass clear out and may be hit with a transfer request from Vertonghen..

Chelsea pay £18m for a player and loan him out for 2-3 seasons hoping he will do well next season and inflate his resale value. While Chelsea's own strikers have been struggling to score and they are looking to capture Costa for nearly £40m (inc wages + add ons).. In addition Chelsea have nearly £100m worth of players out on loan. Must be great to have money to play the market like that...

Mourinho was at Zulte - rsca yesterday to check out chelsea's Thorgan Hazard, and Anderlechts Tielemans and Mitrovic.

But Tielemans sais he wants to stay at Anderlecht at least to finish school and his education, I hope his teachers flunk him for 10 consecutive years then again he just turned 17 so if he does his school, that means 1 more year, and if he decides to go to uni that's 4 more years
