    Default [TATW 3.2] Bree custom settlement by Devils_Advocate RELEASED!


    BREE CUSTOM SETTLEMENT [Vanilla 3.2 compatible only]

    PREVIEW IN MORNING








    BREE AT NIGHT





    Installation:
    - Download the files on your hard drive;
    - Open Bree.zip file and extract data folder to Third_Age_3 folder and press rewrite all;
    - For sure delete map.rwm in ../data/world/maps/base/ file and in ../data/world/maps/campaign/custom/Fellowship_Campaign/ all *.string.bin files in ../data/text/ folder.

    Version with only one but working gate(South):

    Version with 3 gates(one working good(South), second one working so-so(East), third one doesn't work property(West)).

    Credits:
    - Devils_Advocate - original creator;
    - Jox25 - strat map model, finalizating the settlement, implementation, prancing pony sign;
    - Arkay - lighting effects, additional buildings, additional vegetation;
    - Irenë Hawnetyne - permission for using her Prancing Pony building(model and texture) from BFME2 mod;
    - leo.civil.uefs - for helping in using IWTE, testing the layout, our with Arkay master;
    - wilddog and makanyane - for IWTE tool and help everytime.

    Great work guys!

    But I think the lightning effects look too intensive. While it looks pretty nice from above, from the ground it seems that the whole village is burning.

    This should be fixed anytime soon, hopefully.

    Great! I always regretted that leo didn't want to implement it in his submod. Good work then, hope you will make it compatible with the main submods, as well as Divide and Conquer . +Rep

    So we did very late tests and found out that only south gate of all working well. Another 2 bugged.. If I can't fix that - we will have only one gate in settlement.

    Cool stuff! Considering Minas Tirith, Erebor, Esgaroth and many other settlements have only one gate and work fine maybe you could just release it with one gate.

    One gate is ok, its not such a tactical settlement anyway, its more for the sake of immersion.

    map.rwm is in data/world/maps/base, not world/maps/campaign... Sound work though. It is a nice looking settlement indeed.

    The settlement is supercool! Thank you very much, guys! I implmented it but I cant get the strat map model to work. I noticed that in descr_strat the level is set as city but the strat map model in your file refers to northern_european_large_city instead of northern_european_city. Maybe this is the reason? By the way, anybody had success making it compatible with Leo's mod?
