Alright, so I just loaded up the thread. Saw Nice say a great victory and started laughing. Then I actually looked at the picture and was like, I just got trolled.

My excitement is tempered by dread...

Why is that?
Is the Woodland realm still open? and in that case; what turn are we in?
We can't have new players in this HS right now. Perhaps a Youngblood hotseat would be a better idea. Thanks for your offer though.

Sounds like Gimli is doing a great job. He is the one subbing Rhun.
Most Feared Warlord: Nice
Most Dreaded Commander: Nice
I have been subbing Rhun since Gallus left, Nice has only subbed me a few times when I have been unable to play. I think we should leave things as they are now because Joerock and I can asily sub Rhun and SE after our turns which speeds up the HS quite a bit!
And I shall kindly take your complement Joerock

That was my point, that we should leave things as they are. Bringing new blood in now will only cause people to get annoyed when the new blood makes mistakes.
Arrow did we get any luck on that diplomat thing?
Sorry for the delay, I'll have this up in 12.

No and yes.
Your create_building command doesn't exist, but I can do something else.
I can move a Mordor unit to one of the undefended towns outside the playable area that has a diplomat building (or the capability to build one) capture the town, move the unit back to where it was, and then recruit a diplomat. Then next turn when it's done, I can move it to Dol Guldur and then let the town rebel. The thing is there's no command that allows me to finish the recruitment, like process_rq in RTW, so Mordor will have that town for a couple turns. It's complicated but it will work, is everyone ok with it?
I don't think he really needs a diplomat and should live without one. This isn't a free-for-all and it isn't a new game. It's a waste of everyone's time, IMO.
But I'm probably in the minority. If you do give him that town, make sure you deduct the excess income. Mordor shouldn't get any additional advantage from this.
Damn, I thought you could create a building. Instead of all this work, I can gift him one of Loriens settlements(both can recruit diplomats) and he can just have it for a couple turns to recruit one. No idea why I didn't think of this before.
Joe this is a team based game and without a diplomat I cannot ally myself with my friends. I also cannot support them in military actions which is a crucial endeavor....
If the only issue is you not being able to ally with your allies, I think there is a command where the admin can force diplomacy, i.e. make two factions be allied. If I have time later I’ll try to look it up. Sorry, it didn’t occur to me that you might not be allied with your teammates yet.
If that is the only issue, it is even easier than that, because the other faction can send you a diplomat to offer all the necessary agreements
