I love the mod, would be a shame if it dies...

It will not die I promise. Okay.. We are about ready to dig into Odoacer deeply and I'm going to start working and increasing the size of the map for IBFD II so we are heading toward it now

Great to hear! I love the timeframe and I played IB 1 to death, so I can't wait for the "whole" IB 2 to be finished!

The Odoacer mod is advancing and we are adding factions and creating their Kingdoms for the final IBFD II Mod.. The progress will be displayed soon. Some of them are under the yoke of the Huns but will be scripted to rebel

Each mod focuses on a different time/location of the barbarian invasions.

The 3 mods prior are mini mods that are different regional sections. The final mod IBFD II will encompass everything and add more to the Eastern factions and lands. Its just has taking much time for the mini mods are much more than mini mods even though regional.

IBFD II will take place at the death of Attila. The AI will script his death and cause the great rebellions. Prior these factions will be playable as a protectorates in a city state like province but will emerge in hordes as rebellious factions in 454. History can be altered if his (Attila)sons are successful in crushing the rebellions.

Great thanks, I'm interested in the time period.

How far you will go in east ?

Here is a region that encompasses the Sassanid Empire. It also goes about that far south
I'll very soon depict the region of the map northward
The White Huns, the Hephthalites maybe represented but we haven't gotten that far yet

Cool, as much as I would like to see more eastern factions, I know that bigger map will increase the workload which in return might decrease the quality and realistic depiction.

Don't know, but midnite has been working on some new models both for the Sassanids and Armenia.
