I will abstain from voting on a poll about a rule change meant to limit my way of playing. Tavastians are using a scorched earth strategy, no need to change the laws of the universe over that.

That being said, here we go.

Indeed Sleepy, but this way you gain more land as a defender than your agressors. Seems weird...

Nobody told them to waste moves on me when there's still plenty of rebel land about. Hardly my fault, is it? And by the way, I don't gain more than they do. If they use all their moves on me, They conquer an average of 3 regions per turn. So yeah, I stay at roughly the same size while they gain land.

EDIT: Okay, a little under an average of 3 because of ties.

We're gonna run out of rebels soon enough, no need to force players to attack other players. It will happen naturally.

@Kirila. I do think this slightly awkward game. Your forced to expand to places you don't own. I think that a non-earth map would be better for this type of game.

You just try to get this rule through to "win" (whatever that is in this game) the war you started. We need no such rule since we don't have an infinite number of rebel regions, thus this bullcrap war won't go on "forever" however much you insist its going to. If this rule is applied, have fun rolling for every turn of all the players from now on Kitten, I've been at war with everyone since turn 11.

Uhm Sleeping Bear, that "declare war on everyone" is utter nonsense. Plus there's a problem with his rule if your scenario went ahead, they would have to attack someone they can't attack, which would be you. I did not start the war... If you read, you know with your eyes. This is the Vikings attacking you, I am only helping. I don't want to pass this law on so I can win. What your doing is incredibly gamey.

"Rolling for everyone" is referring to your rule, not Kirila's. And why would declaring war on everyone be nonsense, are you going to make a new rule for that too? And we all know "just helping the Vikings" is since you threatened me with war before the Vikings even started aggressions.

I play by the rules of the game, but I won't tolerate making up new rules just to limit me.

If you don't have the majority of votes to enact a change, wouldn't that mean that the rule won't be changed? I really don't see the problem anyway, once all the rebel regions are filled up, people will be forced to fight each other.

If you get a draw you can attack again. This means the chances of winning a region increase and the defender can still randomly expand.

I am actually fine by the rule change that was enacted for compensation.
