Okay thanks Ahiga.
Hi Dresden, when I am recruiting any unit from Imperator Augustus Campaign, No Unit is showing in the unit panel at all. it is just blank. I play as Octavia Rome with latest CRC version from Steam workshop. I tested this without any other mod and with mods, same problem. I guess it is the startpos file issue conflicted with Imperator Augustus Campaign one. Please fix if you can.
To play this mod you have to start it via the grand campaign option. Since IA is a whole new map and campaign with its own startpos, it would require a truckload of work to move it over. For now you'll have to use the original map.
Sorry if this has already been reported but I noticed this problem in the politics tab.
If you look under influence you can see that one of the modifiers (I assume Empire happiness) is listed as "HIDDEN"
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Dresden I have this problem everything works except this
the case is empty
Was really enjoying this mod until I had my first naval battle and discovered Scorpion triremes don't fire their artillery. Their range limit doesn't appear and if you try to get them to attack an enemy ship they just go for ramming it. Seems like a pretty major bug, but as no one else has raised it, I'm wondering if it's unique to me.
No other mods, English language version.
Should maybe add that I'm playing as Maxentius, on Very Hard.
Anybody got any comments on the Scorpion triremes problem? Surely I can't be the only one affected?
I haven't had a chance to test them yet, but I think they are same as in vanilla. However, there may be a projectile setting that is causing the issue.
I rarely play naval battles so that is probably why it isn't noticed (I don't think many do, but I could be wrong).
Dresden! i see a little bug, the lancerii unit of Daia Augustus faction ( elite light infantry ) have one model mixed with an athic helmet ( greek ), you can see the bronze helmet over your texture.
And i see some units, like Palantina, and many others trhowing pila, not the normal javelin, in concordance with this period. I think maximus told me that was fixed long time ago, but i think not all, could you check it? Thanks, that is the only bugs i can see in all texture modding, awesome!!! Love this mod! keep on!
i check it in other roman factions, all lancerii units have a mix on helmet texture, in one model ( reply x times in each unit )
and, maybe itīs only me but my roman infantry units have fire at will ( but not working ) it could be a bug?
The last thing i saw in my check is about charge-throwing on roman infantry units, they donīt throw it even with long distance beetwen the enemies, itīs only me? itīs strange, they throw it, but some times, i think this could be improved, and fire at will could be a good idea too. Thanks for all another time! love this mod! and with Maximus variety of shields is more realistic! really sense of late roman army! =)
Weird secondary weapon bug in the 3D model of the foederati slingers:
Another secondary weapon bug in "Civitas Armati" (by the way, probably better name them "Armati Civitatis"):
(no dagger, misplaced javelin)
Finally, it must have been reported already, but mercenaries are anachronistic (in Italy) - they are
same as the vanilla GC.
All the issues with weapons and unit appearance in general I'll try and fix for the next update. As for the mercenaries they're all vanilla at the moment but factions have been set to not hire any, although sometimes they've been seen doing it anyway, but not as much as in vanilla. We have plans to overhaul the mercenaries in the future, but with Attila coming up we'll need to know how we'll do with porting over or not, so it'll be a while before we do anything with mercenaries specifically.
Thanks for reporting!
Thanks for the feedback.
Please do not wait for Attila !
I pre-ordered TWR2, but since Sep 4 2013 I have never seen the GC past turn #60 and never actually started CiG or HatG. I was going to uninstall R2 - when I noticed this mod. Now even though I have just lost Genua to Constantine's XXII Primigenia, I am having great fun - for the first time !
Attila won't probably be playable before 2016 - there's plenty of time to enjoy Rise Of Christianity
