    Aren't they supposed to be "acquired" through tech though? If so, wouldn't fixing it just be a matter of changing them around in the appropriate table? (Which name I can't recall atm but I think you know which one it is)

    Well, right now all the Roman units are available from the start so there aren't really any unlocked in that tech. Eventually we can make it so that some are not available until those reforms.

    I just installed the newest patch 15 beta standalone version and tried to continue a campaign i started a couple weeks ago with the patch 14 version. Everything is fine until I try and fight a battle, it crashes halfway through loading. Any help would be appreciated. I do realize it could be something where due to so many changes in patch 15 beta it wont let me continue a previous save. But yeah as of like 2 weeks ago battles were fine but now, well I cant watch my Asian and African romans take over Greece

    Hi, i have the same Problem with the patch15 standalone. I start a new Campange and when i load a Battle crash the game.

    found this... looks like a varient_mesh_ bug

    using 14 do not have the patch 15, even tho i am subscribed to the betas some reason it has not updated my game to 1.5.

    yes i have patch15beta and no other mods in rome2/data directory. i think it`is perhaps because my game is in german language. i change it to english and test again

    Dresden I only have GEM mod, non steam edition , SEEM 1.5, better water 3HD, and removal of arcade graphical effects. I have never seen any of these mods call any problems whatsoever, especially major overhauls. DEI works fine with them.

    I use the standalone version for patch 15 beta (English version without other mods). The game freezes when a battle is loading. The campaign works very well.

    Dresden I think I've figured out what's causing these battle crashes with patch 15 (for all mods). CA made a change in their animation tables so now there is no longer an animation set called rome_man_javelin_cavalry, it is now called rome_man_javelin_sword_shield_cavalry. This is the animation set used by javelin cavalry so whenever you try and run a battle with said unit that still has the old animation name listed, the game says good night. If you poke through the data_rome2 pack you'll see what I'm talking about.

    Yes that is what causes battle crashes with patch 15 but I was almost positive I changed all of those in the standalone.

    They removed rome_man_javelin and the cavalry version. I changed all of those in the standalone...maybe I forgot to reupload it

    Edit: Hmm the upload date in mediafire matches my edit date. If you get a chance, check the land units tables and make sure I am not crazy!

    Yeah I just looked and it all seems fine. Must be something else. That's the only problem I've found so far with patch 15.

    Yeah my guess is some people aren't getting the patch 15 beta with patch 15 version of CROC combination right. First and foremost I'd say everyone who's having crash issues should check and make sure they're using the right versions.

    A few errors, when zooming out from unit or turning away odd spots and stripes appear on scutums?

    The issue with the shields is nothing I've had personally and I've been looking. Haven't played the recent updates though so I could be tripping. I think Ahiga is aware of the helmet issue though. Thanks for reporting!

    That issue is due to not assigning a blank decal pattern for shields. Besides Legio hastati for Constantine, what other units have that happen? I know how to fix it. Dresden since it'll be easier for you to do it than for me to do it, upload the file and you to integrate it, you want to find the Legion_spear VMD for Constantine, find the shield entry and add this behind the .rigid_model_V2" entry decal_diffuse="VariantMeshes/_VariantModels/man/patterns/blank/decal_diffuse" decal_normal="VariantMeshes/_VariantModels/man/patterns/blank/decal_normal" imposter_model="VariantMeshes/_VariantModels/man/shield/roman_early_scutum.rigid_model_v2"/>
